This is the type of owner and environment Cane Corso's need. Disciplined, structured and consistent training. Well done!

Yes he does. I do hate when folks make big deal of it when someone pronounces it as "Caine" Corse as if they are uneducated. It's really not that serious.

@@seanmoore9878they are uneducated if they walk around saying it incorrectly. I breed them, it is that deep💯

@@seanmoore9878ok homie, you keep saying it incorrectly & I will keep assuming you’re uneducated. Keep it moving. Probably have one of those Craigslist Corso’s anyway.

Excellent video! We got a year old rescue corso, who'd had a terrible first year of life. He's a gentle and fairly easy boy, but he still needs to be trained every single day. Have off lead exercise every day. Eats an absolute ton of the finest dog food. Every guest is introduced in a controlled environment. Plus lots more, and as I said, he's definitely easier than a lot of corso's. Constant and consistent training cannot be emphasised enough.

100% agree with all of this. My experience with the breed is that they can be like any other working breed, like a german working line GSD. Lots of work. Prone to resource guarding (comes with guarding genetics but need to train around it so much, especially with any kids in home), prone to a being a bit dominant, strong. 100s of hrs of training/exercise a year. Probably close to 5000-7000 dollars a year in food, treats, equipment, vet, insurance, training, etc and thats without any injuries or serious vet trips.

Just got my pup Kahnos! Training is going well so far, luckily I work remote and can put the time in. Did you do professional training with Duke?

That big boy looks like he'd be happiest working on a farm. Acres to run and animals to chase.

Duke would love that! Honestly, I would too. Thanks for watching! 🐾❤️

Also what do you/people use for treats? It’s a lot training so what to use that won’t create softer stools?

Quick question- I see you have Duke on the couch with you. I was always told not to allow it because of their dominance behavior. Is allowed anytime or only when invited? Thanks!
@TreyandDuke5 күн бұрын
You can allow what you want. Duke has access to one couch which is that one in a man cave area in my house. I let him know when he can get on it. I don’t allow him on any other furniture.

How are you house training your dog,bathroom training.

I crate trained him when he was a puppy and took him out on a regular schedule and rewarded using the “potty” outside with praise/love.
