I used to like this movie as a teen. Now I can’t help but wonder what level of foolishness the writer was trying to communicate because Micheal knew his choice of wife wasn’t domesticated and instead of loving her for her, he decided he’d change her? Such clownery 😂. And why does Udoka have to agree to marry him? I mean, agree to be an option? Nah the battle wasn’t with Anne it was with her self esteem and pride because, she should have gone home and even settled with a widower than staying there and slaving in the name of humble, homely wife. Before this was a love story of strife but damn! Love could hurt but stupidity hurts more
