You've Already Got It!!

As I have journeyed through my time of standing for marriage restoration I have learned so much! My heart's desire is to share those lessons the Lord has taught me with you. My hope is that you will feel encouraged and grow in your faith as you continue your stand and know that you are not alone. God's ways are always the best ways and may His perfect will be your portion.

I read recently that God would not have put or allowed a Goliath in front of us if He didn't know there was a David inside of us. I also read that Satan tries to limit your praying because he knows that your praying will limit him. We standers should make like Rocky Balboa in the first two films. Right before the bell ended the final round of the first film, Apollo Creed had knocked him to the floor again. Rocky told his manager Mickey that he was not going to go down again (RockyII). Battered and in pain, he scrambled to get back up. Mickey urged him to stay down, just like Satan and our family and friends and pastors tell us to quit, to give up and walk away. But Rocky took hold of the ropes around the ring and pulled himself up to continue the fight, determined to go the distance. Apollo lowered and shook his head because he had believed that he had won with that last hit, that the fight was finally over. When Satan uses our spouses and their behavior to knock us down, instead of throwing in the towel, we need to take hold of the Word of God and pull ourselves back up, determined to go the distance. It is we who are winning this fight because God NEVER loses.🥊🙏

I've given God everything and still he just wants more than I have to give. The only thing I have left to give is the very beat of my heart and the breath from my lungs.

Jesus gave his life. We are expected to do the same with joy. If god is asking you to give more than you think you have then rely on him for your strength and allow him to fill you up so you have more to give. It’s not giving from what we have but giving from what god provides. We’re a vessel.

I am in a struggle should I do child support for my husband or not I don't want to be like I am trying to get back at him. I trust God to supply our needs my sister and church family is really acting as though I am crazy. What should I do???

For me I never asked for any child support or alimony (even though I have kids almost full time) and god has faithfully provided above and beyond my expectations. Let him lead you through every decision and detail!
