I adore Bare minerals but I have to watch powders being 49 so seeing their is creams is a dream come true. I have the eyeshadow primer and the bareskinnpro concealer which I adore. I have really dry skin though I think these all work well for me! Try to off duty blush sticks by Mecca... they are amazing..and affordable. Pinched would be beautiful with this look. Mecca has a tonne if their own brand stuff that have been incredible this year. The Bourjois satin Eyeshadow 24 hour wear is amazing for a and done or as a colour base too. Can’t believe I only just flounder it. You look really petty

I ordered the original and they sent Bare Pro, can’t say I Hate it but definitely for younger skin. I have to go back and blot it out of my wrinkles lol. And it’s too flat for me. I much prefer flower beauty foundation! Cheaper too! All time fav though is Mac face n body, ADORE IT!!!

So far I like the bare minerals liquid formula I have used. I can not get the powder to work for me no matter how much I buff or how little powder I use to buff so I have been thrilled they now have liquid foundations because every one I have bought I like. I just use my foundation brush and go over it with a sponge and so far that is working for me. I have the Bare Minerals pallets and I love them, but since I have the LM sticks I have no reason to test the BM since I am happy. I do like cream blushes but my favorites are the DS ones as they are easy to apply & wear well. Thanks 😊

Ordered Original Liquid and turned right around and returned it. Shade was not only way off, but I couldn't get it to work for me and stay on even using it as a mixer with a matte foundation.

I purchased the stoned rose pallet as a treat and I was so excited to get it and to be honest, I was disappointed. The colours aren’t quite there for me, it’s like a draft version, it’s ok. I did buy a flower pallet and I love it more, the colours are pretty and neutral for every day wear to work, they blend well and stay on all day. The flower blush bomb in a little tube, I bought pinched, is amazing. Such a pretty neutral colour and wears well.

I don’t know if it’s just the shades I tried but the Julep eyeshadow sticks did not blend as well and creased sooner in comparison to other brands that I’ve tried- Laura Mercier Caviar sticks, Covergirl Queenship, Kiko, or Nudestix. I was surprised because it’s a stiffer formula in comparison to like Nudestix so I wasn’t expecting it to crease or fade as fast as it did. I don’t know if that helps you at all, but that was my personal experience with the Julep ones :)

I bought the Stoned Rose after watching another video where it was touted as good for cooler complexions. Not so - way too warm, and I returned it. I did try a Beauty Pie palette (which is almost an exact dupe), but again, it was too warm. Love the fact that the cream sticks are satin and not metallic.

If you have dry skin or rosacea, using a brush to apply foundation will cause friction and exfoliate the dry skin. Showing dry patches. Wayne Goss has a video about it.

I didn't like it after trying it with my fingers or my buffing/blurring brush. I like the brush you're using today in the mini size, lol, just not the larger version. The foundation felt heavy, just didn't like it. I thought you're applying the original afterwards looked much nicer, also love that Golden Fair shade, lol. The new blush stick is beautiful! XO

I like a lot of bare Minerals base products, but I always have the problem with their shades being too dark. I would love to see lighter shades of complexion rescue and the serum concealer, I find they both dry down much darker than they go on, which is a shame because they are beautiful products.

Hi , you seem to be the best person to ask with your experience with powder foundations, I use laura geller b& brighten in med in summer and fair now in winter in uk, I have used bare minerals in med beige in summer time, also just brought clinique powder foundation in med neutral no 7, I love it great match, I would like to try mac studio fix powder foundation, can you help with shades, I am neutral with blue eyes and can tan in summer, some foundation like it cc cream in med are to yellow for me. I ordered it and the color was too yellow. It was also patchy on me and clung to my mask. I can wear 2 masks during patient care for 8 hrs and never get transfer with my Bare Minerals powder. The liquid was all over my mask after one patient. I struggled to blend the Bare Pro eye shadows vs. the cavier sticks.

Shelbey I was wondering if you could help me with an issue I’m having with the BM original powder foundation. Had to change to a lighter color recently, the one I had been using for years is now too dark. New color applies patchy, not blending in like my old one had. I use very little and buff for a long time with the beautiful finish brush. I don’t know if the formula changed. I used the old one year round and never had this issue, so I don’t think winter is the reason. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
