Ah perfect for continuing my fanfiction. The vibes I'm getting from this fit in perfectly: after wanderings the woods and marching through endless darkness we find a clearing at last. A nice little meadow with tall grasses and a few deers grazing on it. They may flee at the sight of an armed man, but the meadow remains, and the mind begins to clear from the previous days (weeks?) spent in the woods. We can leave the shadowy Path and embrace the momentary stillness.

This is a treasure. Geralt looks so good, man, like he always does. The angle of the tree silhouettes in the mist, the bright white sky and bluish-grey nuance, feels like where I am right now. We're all social creatures striving to be close and far at the same time. The lingering silence of loneliness pushes us to the edge of companionship, but most feel too scared to let someone in. However; the nearness of friends, family, or lovers, leaves us too vulnerable to feel satisfactory. I wish doing something good for someone wasn't a choice between one evil and another, but that's the world we live in today. Instead it is easier to edge closer to the silence as it's the only one not judging you for all the decisions you've made and all the righteous intent you had, but was misplaced.
