I don’t believe that Fury is scared of Usyck. He’s too full of himself, and rightfully so, to believe that he could lose to Usyck or anyone else. In fact, he’s so full of himself that he’s acting out and making a scene because he thinks he can and doesn’t think there are any consequences because of how great he is. I was behind him 100%, but I am starting to reconsider my position. I love watching him fight…when he fights, but the amount of time that has passed since his last fight is starting to feel too long.

Little known fact, they were giving away tickets to everyone in the local area in Tottenham for the Chisora fight. Everyone in the N15 and N17 postcodes could get free tickets. The funny thing is that the fight not happening affects Fury more than Usyk, because failed to gain 70% of the purse. So the fact that Fury, after obtaining 70% of the purse, did not agree with Usyk's modest demands about the rematch clause, speaks volumes about Fury never wanting the fight. Fury didn't care about the money, he was scared of losing his undefeated status to the smaller Usyk. Fury knows that his whole career and legacy are hanging by a thread, his undefeated status, and the minute he takes a loss all that crumbles like a deck of cards and he goes straight into oblivion. Frank Warren couldn't do anything in that situation, he tried hard because he lost the most from the fight not happening, he ended up losing all the time and money already spent throughout the negotiation period. Usyk's promoter also wasted his time and lost a little bit of money on airplane tickets and lawyer fees, but Frank was supposed to make a quite a bit by promoting the actual fight, and he must be hurting a lot more from the fight being canceled.

Frank knows Fury too well to not have realized early that the fight was never going to happen, and he should have not even pursued it, wasting everyone's time including his own. As a promoter and businessman, Frank lost more than anyone involved in the negotiations, he lost time, money and credibility, and it's his own fault, he can't blame anyone else for it.
