The Singularity Computers Stream-S case is unlike any other mini-ITX case you have ever seen... with a built in pump/distro plate and directly connected PSU limiting the need for wires, this is a truly custom case... Check it out at singularitycom...

Always disappointing when Jay does case reviews without actually building in it at all. I know it’s not ‘practical’ to do it in every case but it’s also not very useful as a consumer to just hear somebody say what you could do in a case.

@@evileyeball Primarily a practicality of living/storage space. Also being an early adopter of M.2, and the decline of optical media, it was clear that a good chunk of the classic ATX case size was just a waste of space, or unnecessary weight to deal with. Granted, the size of GPU coolers kicked that in reverse a little bit. Maintenance in some SFF cases can be dreadful, trade-offs to consider, as with anything particularly exotic.

Good proof of concept, but a lot of things dont make sense imo: - It's a premium case commanding a $600 price tag, but only supports 2x 240 (2x 280 would be more compelling). If I'm going big baller on the case, wouldnt it stand to reason that I'd probably shell out on top of the line parts? I'm sure 2x 240 would handle a 14900k/4090 fine with some undervolting.. but again, at $600 I'm left wanting more cooling performance. - DDC only. I understand a DDC a more than enough for a full loop in this case, but lots of people would prefer a D5. Personally, running a D5 at lower rpm is how I'd wanna do it over a DDC's potential pitchy noise at higher rpms - 2.5 slots means no pass through via the PCI slot for an external rad. A small point but it connects to my first point about the limited rad support. (Again, I know there are ppl running their 4090s on limited rad space via undervolting. I just personally think the option for an external rad would be sweet.) - Only supporting the ASUS Loki (at least atm) is an interesting choice. I know the guys brought this up, but Corsair and Silverstone have been dominating the SFX/SFX-L space for the past couple yrs. Cooler master with their beefy bois are also a contender. Anyways, at least a couple of these points could be addressed considering this is pretty large for an 'sff' case.

I love it... I really love it. If I were just doing builds to be doing them, especially for a channel, I'd do one in this. However, my personal system doesn't have any RGB as I'm more of an understated kinda guy. I'd consider it if I were really wanting to do something fancy again, and could afford it and the power supply XD

I was thinking the cost of a PC worth building in this case because you would have to use high end-ish components, would be around with case and PSU included, $6000 before tax, you might save a little going with a 4080 over the 4090, but at that point whats $3-$400 more? That is about $2500 or so more then my main PC build with a 4080 and EK vector water block and MSI EK carbon mono block motherboard, hardline tubed build. I like singularity but at $6000 I can think of a few other cases I rather do a build in. I think those are Singularity also though lol Nice case and I hope Jay does a build with cost, including fittings in the price.
