Matty D, I just wanted U to know that I've rocked with U since the off-season this past year.... I just realized that I had never subscribed though! (so I just did tonight!) I (as well as many other Commanders fans) have appreciated how you actually paid attention to our team from the beginning and weren't a "Johnny come lately" now that they're in the playoffs and JD5 has been the most exciting player to come along since.......??? We Commanders fans and our team hasn't been given respect nor been taken seriously since that slimey previous owner( and I hate to say it, but deservedly so).... He came so close to completely destroying the whole franchise!.... A once proud franchise with a most loyal fan base too!!!... We had just gone to 4 Super Bowls(winning 3 of them) just in the Joe Gibbs era, then the nightmare known a D. Snyder came along...... I'll let you figure out what the 'D.' stands for! 😂 (🍆) Anyway, our fan base certainly didn't deserve that.... After over 2 decades of endless suffering and humiliation, we FINALLY had a miracle happen, and he was FORCED to sell the team because the other owners found out he was stealing from THEM too!!!... and if there is one thing a billionaire can't stand, it's for someone to steal even one penny from them!.. The sexual harassment, turning Fed Ex field into a literal dump where the poor fans had to endure RAW Sewage spilling on them.... ON TWO DIFFERENT OCCASIONS!!! The safety railing collapsing where the fans almost literally fell into the lap of Jalen Hurts as he was entering the tunnel after the game!... I mean, we have been through some 💩, I tell ya!!!! So, if there is any fan base that has built up a ton of good karma, it's gotta be us!!! 😂 Thank you for being there with us! I also appreciate your humility and you aren't afraid to admit if you got something wrong... I think that is awesome... And so refreshing tbh.... So, I'm subscribed finally and I love your channel! Just wait until next year! Adam Peters(the Commanders new Gm) is widely regarded as one of the best younger Gm minds in the NFL....What he did assembling this current roster is nothing short of miraculous considering that they got rid of approximately 80% of the roster from the previous year!... Then he hit multiple home runs in the draft... JD5(Obviously, but just a few months ago, it wasn't so obvious... many "experts" were clamoring to take many other Qbs with the second pick).... Peters also hit home runs in the draft with Jerzhan (Johnny) Newton, Mike Sanristil, as well as others who are showing promise for next year.... Additionally, the Commanders have the second largest amount of cap space in the NFL for 2025 with almost 95 million dollars! So between the draft and free agency, Peters is almost certain to surround JD with 2 more legit No1 wrs to go along with JD, as well as adding more pieces along the offensive line and Running back.... On defense, he's gonna get at least one bona fide pass rusher and one more corner back to pair up with Marshon Lattimore and Mike Sanristil. This team is gonna be frightening on a whole other level next year and they have the $$$ and the talent evaluator to do it too !

On play 2 its possible that it was cover 1 spy and the DB that carried deep and then passed off is the one who blew his assignment. The LB might have been the robber/spy as he didn't seem to be looking at ertz much at all and the single high wasnt playing deeper than the deepest. But i do tend to lean towards your assessment that the LB was at fault. Either way there was a miscommunication on the bears part. There seemed to be 2 different coverages going on that did not mesh.

I appreciate all the love this year for my Washington Redski I mean Commanders. I just hope Kliff doesn't leave if we can keep him for 2-3 more years and keep building wow. I just don't know of another great OC that could take his place unless we roll the dice on an in house guy that's never OC's before

According to Logan Paulsen, Payne was the difference maker in the defense stopping Bijan in the second half. Defensive stats don't always tell the whole story.

@ericreeves5893 Yeap, I saw Logan Paulsen say that, and that's why I want a more detailed film breakdown. Fans and talking heads have been pretty harsh on both Payne and Allen because they tend to focus too much on their sack count and contributions like Payne had in shutting down Bijan tend to get overlooked.

I have to believe thats a blown coverage by the falcons on the first play you reviewed. I find it hard to believe any D coordinator would be cool with one defender covering 2 eligbles in at least 40+ square yards of field, possibly double that depending on the other DBs assignments. The math doesn't math. Even if i accepted that as a plan so that you can dedicate 2 guys to JD, you dont have them both come from the same exact angle at the same exact time. I refuse to believe this was the plan of someone who was hired by an nfl front office.

Coleman being a mediocre starting caliber LT in his rookie year bodes very well for his future. This guy will be an extremely good lineman wether that be at LT or elsewhere i dont know. But he will be way too good to justify having 5 other guys start over him.

I think he is better than mediocre, he only struggles vs really good Ends and when he does get beat it hasn’t happened back to back too many times
