I am from Russia. We played this game at weekends as a reward for that we trained martial arts well during the week. We were so happy to play it lol instead of a rgular training session where they break wooden sticks on you for making mistakes or not showing enough efforts. Actually this is how my basketball love started. I am 40+ yo now and still playing streetball from time to time and when someone fauls on me i never call it. I never thought about it, but thanks to you now I realised where it’s coming from lol. The confusion if it is Rugball or Regball comes from that in Russian Rugby is written with “e” but not with “u”. We have a different alphabet you know :)

Yeah big guys who are not incredibly and unrealistically strong like Shaq are going to be easy to throw their balance off from different angles. Dont forget, unlike wrestling, people can get a full on sprint and slide into legs in this weird sport. No big dude can take a 200 pound javelin to the legs and brush it off.

But if u add White James, keeeep scrolling up… there! He is at 100.” “Uhm what’s your point?” “…. Sometimes at the end of practice we'd do this for the last 30 mins. The only difference was that the combat part was wrestling only, so no one was throwing haymakers or tryna get you to tap out.
