I've always liked your videos. I've been watching them for a long time my dog that my wife and I own is a mixture of Chow, German Shepard, and Pit Bull mix and we love our dog and so do our kids which are adults now but we're kids when we got him. He's 12 years old now and we give our dog ice to clean his teeth and his teeth are so clean that his veteran that's been in the business for 30 years asked me what do you do for his teeth because their the cleanest teeth I've ever seen on a dog and so I told her Ice she was completely surprised and that sharpens and cleans their teeth. He lives to be walked and I play rope with him. He's 100+ lb dog and doesn't mind being aggressive when you allow him to be but then he was taught by me to shut down that aggression by command when it comes to play time and he NEVER is aggressive towards me and the kids nor my wife. He is protective of me and my family due to the breed as I'm sure you know and so I've trained him with my friends not to be protective towards them over time. He's a great dog to have at least for us. The Rottweiler breed I was snapped at 1 time by one of my friends dog but I think it was my fault or it could of been my friends fault as well because he was training him and he was hyper from my friend training him either way it was the humans fault NOT the dog breed which is always brought out by humans which is the biggest mistake by the humans. My Rottweiler was the absolute best dog I’ve ever owned, got him at 4 weeks 3.5lbs he got up to 130lbs in his prime and he gave me the best 13.5 years ever. Loosing my baby boy was the hardest thing I’ve ever been through. In the end anyone who seen him would have thought he was severely neglected, he was so thin all of the muscle in his head was gone which made it pointy on top but he was still happy and still had his mind. He would shit in his sleep and think he was in trouble Everytime even though I would tell him how good he was. Ended up having to have him put down and it still tears me up inside. My biggest wish would be to see him again someday. RIP Louie I miss and love you so much.

My rotty past away 3 weeks ago his legs wouldnt work anymore he was 15 yrs old and let me tell you my heart is soooo broken,i didnt realize how much control he had over me,i loved him just like my son rottweilers are the most loving dogs ever,its the way you raise them but mine he was a big boy weighing 135 pounds and the most loving boy ever he loved his mama to death he will be truly missed,,my heart needs some serious healing may God help me cope with this sad time..💙💙💙

He was about 18 months old, I was cleaning up the yard and his mom had brought him outside, I heard a truck coming up the street.. I looked up and the boy was heading for the road and invisible to the driver of the truck, I was in motion to get the boy, but coming up 10ft....short to grab him, my dog got to him at the last nanosecond" she actually got clipped by the truck! She was such an amazing dog, later in life she saved a little girl from drowning" RIP Sandy, aka Santana! ❤️ Rottweilers Rock!

Your right his mom & dad were a waist of skin" I was 20 yrs old and taking on the responsibility of someone else's child" I moved them in to my house to stop them from getting beat and abused by the boy's father! I've always had compliments about my parenting" I bet you can't say the same! So GFYS!! I was working in yard" I didn't know he was outside till I heard my neighbour/buddy's truck coming down the street" then I Seen the situation unfolding and reacted like to it! Thankfully "my" dog..who was only 7 months old saved the boy!! And my well trained Rottweiler would save another 8 yr old girl from drowning in front of 50 people, while I went to rescue a 12or 13 yrs old girl from her drug addict parents!!! So again GFYS!!

What a bunch of sweet babies! We've had rotties for 28 years. Never had a bad one. They've always been members of the family. My kids rode them like pony's, we have pictures of them in the bubble bath with the kids. They've been our constant companions. It's always interesting how they love the whole family but pick one human as 'their' person. They woke us up and alerted us to a house fire, we were out of the house less than 60 seconds when the house exploded. Once you're hooked on these sweet knuckleheads no other breed will do. The only downside is that they're gone so soon.

I had a rottie from Germany while in the military. His name was Jazz . He was the smartest well trained dog I ever had very protective of my 2 little girls and wife. In fact when i would play monster with my girls Jazz would gently jump up and put his paws on my chest and turn his head to the side out of respect for me as the alpha. He did not know we were playing but he would put himself between me and the kids to protect them. He would patrol the house at night moving from one room to another I also slept well knowing he was on gaurd. I trained him myself to be social and gentle with the kids. The guarding is instinctual to them. They do need alot of exercising. Everyday rain or shine. At least 1 hour a day . Rip my Jazz

I try to watch every video Tony puts out there to learn as much as I can from watching & listening, and I don’t even have any idea when I’ll get the “you’re up next” call, but I’ve already found & talked to the vet, I’ve already got everything I’ll need to bring my baby bear home. The only thing I don’t have is “her” 😄 lol

There are so many videos out there with people feeding their Rottweiler pups and they're aggressive and barking viciously, the pups are also chained up. Rottweilers and Dobermans both bad stereotyped reputations. None of your pups exhibit food dominant behavior. My wife had a litter of 12 Dobbies and they circled around one huge platter, standing side be side, and behaved the same way. They just have to be raised properly. Love the way you teach them.
