I put on multiples of 6 but at the end of row 1 I had 5 chains left instead of 3 and this made row 2 off. Any ideas what I did wrong? Beautiful pattern. Yhanks

Start with a foundation chain that is a multiple of 6. Row 1: Skip the first 4 chains from the hook (these will count as your first double crochet, dc). Make 4 more dc stitches in the next 4 chains. This will give you a total of 5 dc stitches. Continue this pattern across the row. When you reach the end of the row, you should have 4 chains remaining. Skip one chain and make 3 dc stitches in the last three chains.
