1:16 Unfortunately the only way to survive with no casualties is to make Garfield more popular in the public eye. Sure, going into Foundation custody would protect you. But going into Foundation custody would result in you seemingly disappearing, at least as far as the public knows. This would result in Garfield's popularity dropping even further, due to perceived abuses towards you by corporate. This would result in a lot more casualties than just the singular you.

Here’s the thing though, what would happen if Garfield suddenly just… stopped? Like nobody cared about it anymore? The SCP only appears when Garfield’s popularity wains in the public eye right? Nah, the SCP only appears to attack a person once before disappearing after enough time passes. The Foundation always deals with this SCP by distracting it long enough until it disappears, but they still try to prevent the Garfield comics from losing popularity in order to prevent further incidents. It even attacked Jim Davis before.
