This is very valuable guys! Some people think it is easy life; make video, upload it and earn money. Definitely not! I agree 100% with Mathilde, if you want to do this (KZbin) you have to really love it because it is a sh*t load of work. And you see that every single bit of content you guys make is made with love and passion. Let's meet fast and make a banger of a video together!

Working on different tasks towards a common goal that you're both passionate about, is a very rewarding way to work together to give your audience such an enjoyable and unique shared experience. Thank you for all the great work you do - I really enjoy watching your videos and traveling with you.

All the work shows -- your videos are REALLY well done. The camera-work and video quality is great, your drone video quality is amazing. Your videos present a consistent message and "vibe." And the two of you are just PLEASANT to watch. It's almost a crime that you only have ~50k followers, because your work is better than some KZbinrs with 10x that many. Case in point, I found your channel when you showed up on Eva's channel in Alaska...today I don't really watch her, but I DO watch you.

Very nice to see how your week on the road unfolds. It's so true. It's just soooo much more than just "a bit of filming" and "a bit of editing". It's a full time job if you want to do it properly. Most of those travel videos come from an office, with never ending electric supply, a complete focus on the project. That is like never happening in real life travel. Everything is an obstacle, from finding water to finding a toilet 😅 Admiring you guys for realising this every single week! You're making a great team together!! 💛 We're like already half a year behind on our KZbin videos. On KZbin we're still in Tajikistan 🇹🇯 In real life already in Thailand haha! 🇹🇭 Can't wait to go back to the ocean!!

Hahahaa yes it s quite some delay indeed ! It would truly be awesome to be able to pause the trip to edit the videos comfortably but it would never be feasible financially hahaha Wow that is indeed quite a delay but it is pretty common I think. I m just so scared to stop and never be able to catch up …
@offthemainroad2 ай бұрын
@@NextMeridianExpedition Haha yes, absolutely. Not possible at all 😂 yes, i understand! I think the videos we put out are definitely also different because of the time frame in between. Now we already had time to reflect a bit about our Pamir Highway journey for example, I think the way we create the video now, is different then if we would create it the week after it all happend. But no idea if that's worse or better 😅

That was interesting. It’s quite a change from when I did some world traveling on a shoestring 50 years ago. Back then for extra money you might do some work under the table - pick fruit, bar tend. I herded sheep for a while. Laws about work visas were often less rigorously enforced than now. I think it was also a lot less expensive other than airfares which are probably less now. I don’t think I spent more that $3-4 a day in Australia and didn’t feel hampered.
