French and US secondary BBs are fire starters. You’re wasting skill points and losing damage with IFHE. French secondaries are basically just DD repellent.

I seem to surprise a lot of players with my Gascogne - between the main and sec, it gets a lot of fires.

Patrie and some other French BBs need IFHE, they can’t even pen DDs without it

True but these are 100mm secondaries they won’t even pen DDs. They have 17mm pen when DDs on those tiers have 19mm. Repu and Burger have 127mm secondaries,

Almost like a secondary build Patrie was a... "questionable" request; it needs IFHE just to pen DDs. Odds are pretty good that if you put such small caliber secondaries on a supership that it can't even pen DDs without IFHE, it's not a good secondary ship.

Germans & French T10 Ships have a base of secondary fire range of 8.3Km, Germans & French T11 Ships should have at least 8.5Km of secondary fire range, in my opinion. Every single tier has more secondary fire range than it's predecessor, I do not understand why T11 ships have the same secondary fire range as T10's.

I think it would be funny to see a secondary build Ushakov. Probably not viable in this meta of course, but it does at least have the 130mm quad gun turrets and it can bring 24 of those 130s to bear on a target, plus they have a 3 second reload. At least in my case, I'm up closer to the action in the Ushakov anyway since the guns are inaccurate and its main gimmick is to be a tank, so I'd think in theory, you'd maybe get more use out of its secondaries.
