As a blazer fan who watched them too many times this season, Scoot shot 34.8% from 3 not including his 2/24 start. He really needs to improve that floater and finishing around NBA bigs. He showed some really impressive finishes every game but many times he looked for contact and a foul which made him shoot worse. He has the mentality to have a huge second season and I’m excited about the future of this team (after getting a dude from the 2025 draft class)

I think a lot of the issues for the Blazers this season was injuries and the coaching staff not having adequate plans for new players coming in. Now when I see games when they’re fully healthy they look like a fun scrappy team that can give anyone problems.

The only reason I would have been more negative towards him is to counteract how people acted towards Brandon miller to defend scoot. People are very vocal about picking talent first over fit because of how wiseman and Ayton turned out but took it way too far on guys like Brandon miller and Keegan Murray
