Kerala is beautiful. We spent a week travelling round and actually got our boat from Coconut Lagoon where we stayed for two or three nights and we then spent the day and night on board. We have travelled extensively but India comes out tops every time. Your video brought back memories. Thank you.

25:53 talking about race, there is literally a race of boats in these backwaters. Its called snake boat racing held every year . But the boats are long and slender not the chunky houseboats😂.

​@@YadVenturessThank you Yad. I really enjoyed the serenity all throughout the cruise on the Keralan houseboat. The bedroom, dining and living area was nice, the traditional Keralan food was also nice, some of the Keralan food has similarities with the Malay food in Malaysia. I also had the chance to steer the houseboat for a little while. Overall, it was really worth the experience, I hope you have had a great time too with this experience. 😀

Hi I’m Shirley from South Africa I’ve been on one of the house boats. We stayed overnight. Had dinner and breakfast. Food was delicious with freshly caught fish that was fried. Scenery was amazing with people washing clothes along the side. We were also given fresh green mangoes from the tree. The house boat trip was truly amazing. Would definitely love to go in it again. We also visited Munar and the spice farm. There’s so much to see in Kerala. ❤❤❤ It was beautiful experience.
