I would love for you to visit Tver sometime and vlog it! I was adopted from there from an orphanage when I was 6 months old, I'm 21 now and I have not been back since, which is a really hard thing for me to deal with as I get older. :( I would love to visit Russia more than anything, but with the war happening I get nervous at times thinking about visiting. Also, I live in America now and I don't know much Russian sadly. I have started learning the language one day at a time so that one day when I do visit I can speak it. :) I love your videos and it makes me feel like a piece of me gets to feel like I am there even though I am not.🥰

That's a beautiful Church. I'm an Orthodox Christian in the United States and the area I currently live in only has a Russian Orthodox Church. I was worried that I might not fit in at first, but there was no need to worry. The Russian parishioners were all extremely friendly and inviting, and I wasn't the only non-Russian person there.

Suzdal is like a fairy tale - magical and delightful! As for the ice bath thing, you are right not to do it because you need to be both brave and acclimatised for the few minutes you spend in the cold water. I would call it a once in a lifetime experience. Small towns are a world apart from the big city. Well done video! 😊

This was great. I love when you explore these small towns, especially finding that gem of babushka jams! The secret to quality, homemade ingredients. Secondly, the church was incredible! The architecture, the atmosphere, the fine details of every piece of art. Ever since I was a kid, I've had this fascination for churches and how they're designed from the inside out. Another fun winery day out exploring. The lady selling the jams is one tough lady. Just a simple chair and no heat. Beautiful church, nice it is preserved. No ice water plunge for me 💦 ❄. Your video was very picturesque. I noticed the babushka was selling some amazing homemade jams and remedies. The blackthorn jam caught my eye because the blackthorn berry is called a 'sloe' and can also be used to make a flavoured gin called 'sloe gin'. In the small town where I live there is an apothecary that sells all sorts of traditional medicines and remedies. As a kid I was crazy enough to jump out of my bedroom window into the snow and also swim in the North Sea on New Years Day! 🥶

I visited a beautiful Russian Orthodox Church in Karakul (Kyrgyzstan), The Babushka inside the church forbade me to take photographs inside and she followed me everywhere making sure I stuck to the rules :)) How did you manage to video inside?

Babushka like to make their own rules. I had to ask permission from the priest. They usually allow you to take photos in the church. You can't take pictures of people if they don't want to.
