The checkpoint before the goal is for the uploading of the stage. The creator have to clear it only once from the beginning and the other 2 from the checkpoint are basically free.

The streaky effect was due to the game no longer "clearing" the frame buffer with something like the background. Other stuff is drawn on top of the old data hence the cool effect!

You need the 8Bitdo wireless adapter. You can use the Wii U Pro controller, PS4, Xbox One and lots of other controllers. It’s pretty cheap as well! I have it and it works great.

John Doe The wire is just plugged in to keep it charged. The Wii U Pro controller cannot do data through the USB port for any system, even the Wii U. The circuitry isn’t there in it.
