Yea all I’ve ever really played since 2006 wow is a rogue main, have played with mage a bit but 90% rogue (vanilla-wotlk, stopped for many years, then vanilla classic era, now hardcore/SoD…) and I just feel like an all around idiot because, I will farm/grind for some of the best gear gold can buy/even pay guilds for loot priority in raid, and in PvE can always parse very high, yet I get slaughtered in duels/BGs by people wearing visibly crappy gear who are just better at pvp 🤦‍♂️ Watching a good rogue duel almost reminds me of playing a blue “control” deck in Magic the Gathering - if you play your cards right (pun intended), you can basically paralyze them/lock them out of any real way of defeating you…but a less skilled payer with the same “cards” is just going to get owned the second that “control” breaks and lets their opponent retaliate

Best thing you can do is get functional keybinds if you want to get better at pvp. After that, it's learning your DPS and stun rotations and how your cool downs counter other classes. Dueling is a very good way to learn this, if people still do it
