daily lives we often find lessons in patience in the simplest of things consider a farmer tending to their fields for months on end the farmer knows they cannot .

Acceptance , as I see it, is part of forgiveness . We accept that we have been offended or transgressed against . Then we can proceed to try to reconcile, if possible. Jesus may have chosen forgiveness over revenge, but that can be because His wrath against sin is deferred . Now is a day of salvation, but later there will come a judgement, and the time for forgiveness will be at an end .
