His total without September and October was $137k, which includes losing $17k in December, so he was up over $150k going into the last month of the year. Add a few thousand more for September and October and Im guessing he made just over $140k.

yes. it is part of the journey. I am not going to track the results for him. Also, he is not vlogging every session. that means there are parts of the year that are missed. LEx, really like the vlog. You are in the top 5 vloggers, IMO. I disagree with your reasoning on not giving a $ amount for your year results, though. Much of your audience is invested in your journey and watch your work throughout the year,. You should inform us of your final results to give closure on the year, and help us be more invested n that journey. It is not bragging to say your results, when you are a vlogger. It is allowing your audience more insight into what you did through out the year.

At the end of 2021 I started playing poker again after a long time off. Back in the day when I used to grind it all the time, there was no no-limit, but now that's the main game, so I had to get up to speed. I started watching KZbin poker videos, and Lex's vlog was the first one I started watching. This led me to Brad's and Wolfgang's and Mariano's. Learning how real no-limit winners think about hands helped me immensely, that and a CLP subscription have made me a winning grinder at 1-3 for about 4,000 hours in the last 2 years. The pocket jacks hand at 12:15 is the perfect example of how to analyze what your opponent has based on how they play their hands, and that is what winning play is all about - knowing your opponents and going with your analysis. Congrats to you and your success Lex, you deserve it and have inspired me to be successful as well.

I am glad that you had a successful year playing poker. Here is some advice to make your KZbin channel more successful. Don’t clickbait your titles. You say “you will never guess how much money I made in 2023!” and then proceed to tell your audience that you are not going to say how much you made. Thats a quick way to lose subscribers. Why word the title that way if you aren’t going to give the info? I guess you are right, I never would guess because you aren’t telling us. Don’t worry, saying the amount is not bragging. People really want to know how much you win or lose both daily and yearly. It’s the most common reason why people watch poker vlogs.

So basically... $175k to $200k (Assuming September and October were $20-$30k each and not including any sponsorships, KZbin income or any other income.) I doubt he is worried about the IRS. If he treats his poker like a business, he writes off everything from his clothes (need to keep up appearances at the table), to hotels, travel, transportation and meals. I'm not sure why he chooses to showcase so much of his personal life and then chooses not to sum up his year end, but the poker content is good regardless.

I have a suggestion to improve your video a bit. you have great content and i have been watching for years! but, one thing that drives me crazy. lol. is you show all your hands in great detail and discussion. but, when you have a big hand that is very exciting. you stop showing card values on screen and just show the action on the table. the problem is. i can't see what any of the cards are. so, i have no idea whats going on . did you win? did you lose? its always this big build up only to have a sort of let down because sometimes you honestly don't even know if you won the hand or not. its a little frustrating. lol. so, please, when you have a big hand and you show the action. please also show the card values so we can see whats happening. it would be a great improvement for me.
