In this video I will be showing you the process on How to apply Marrakech wall from Pure and Original.

lets go over some of the tools and supplies you will need. first off you are going to want to pick up a wall spatula from the Pure and original link.
you'll need a 4 inch microfiber roller, any size handle is good, accompanied with any 2-1/2" paint brush. to hold hold everything I used this pelican pail
First steps are to mask off the project area to protect the surfaces you don't want the Marrakesh finish on, along with a drop cloth to protect the floor. I'm using this masking gun but you could use painters tape and some news paper if you don't have one.
Now that we are ready, we will be starting off with the wall prim base coat. This primer is specially developed for the proper adhesion of the Marrakech finish.
once you have opened it up, your going to want to stir it up with the stir stick, just in case there is any settling in the can.
The second step is applying the Marrakesh wall base.
once you get this can open your going to notice that this product is thicker than usual, this is because its a lime-based, 100 % mineral plaster-paint. you are also going to want to stir is up to break any chunks. I rolled out about a 4sqf at a time then troweled it, just remember there is no wrong way to do this as long as you like what you see.
This Third step is the messiest step so be sure to have a good dust mask on, I'm using my N95 respirator but a n95 surgical face mask will do just great. By using 400 grit sanding paper you will sand away any irregularities or high spots. be careful not to sand too much. After sanding use a brush and damp microfiber cloth
to remove the powder before sealing it.
The last step is to apply the Dead Flat eco sealer. By using a random stroke pattern with the bush you will avoid any straight looking patterns, this will also add to the over all effect. This sealer will make the wall really dark but don't worry it will lighten up once dried as well as softening out some harsher lines.
once you are done and the sealer is has dried 12 hrs. you can clean up and start putting all your finishes up on the wall.
