Do you know why you are getting so popular? Because you are honest. You tell it like it is but in a kind way. There are no "back doors" to you - what you see is what you get. You aren't trying to be someone you aren't to impress people, you aren't showing us stuff you don't like yourself just to get money. You are genuine and that resonates with people. I got nothing but respect for you. The first couple of videos I watched of yours a year or so ago I was like "meh, I don't know" but something about you and your style keeps drawing me back. It's that honestly, and that "chatting with a girlfriend" comfort in listening to you. Keep it up, ignore the haters. I have watched quite a bit of Theresa too and she has the same vibe. Onward and upward!

Dress like you have a Little bit of class. Leggings do not belong on public streets in public diners and public restaurants they belong in the gym. Most of these clothes are so tight a man or a woman can see entirely through them. Somehow I am just Not interested in seeing someone else’s Bitts men and women alike with a small bit of like Lycra. What is wrong with putting on a comfortable pair of jeans maybe a nice sandal, a button-down top or blouse and T-shirts don’t qualify as blouses or shirts. It makes me wonder if any kids have been given a textbook on what clothes look appropriate at what times because apparently parents aren’t teaching them. I’m very passionate about this subject but it’s decided my standards will apply to me. So if you see some lady dressed in a fur coat and fancy shoes and looks totally out of place that would be me.

I am a software designer for one of the largest HVAC corporations in the world and they embrace diversity, which is amazing! I couldn’t handle having all my hangers match, and I also wear leggings. I’ve forgotten more than those people will ever know! 😂 They are unhappy women who probably don’t have a husband or many friends. Unhappy in their jobs and relationships and can’t say a nice word to anyone. Your channel is fresh, inspiring & gives us worn out ladies some new stuff to try. Hi Angela, I have been watching your channel for about 3-1/2 years. I don't comment often, but I loved this episode. Especially hearing the rude comments and how you handled those with a sense of humor. I don't watch you or any other fashion KZbinr because of where you choose to shop. I just found you a month or so ago and I cannot get enough !! You are fabulous!! I enjoy your honesty and opinions!! You are genuine and very impressive. Thank you for helping to keep me stylish in my over fifty (actually 60) years. Your style is likable and easy to wear. My husband and I are over the road truck drivers , he drives night and I drive day. I Love being out here with him but have no “style” due to my job so dressing stylish and fun is what I do when we get a day or two of home time. You have helped that and date nights are better than ever!!! My husband says I look so classy. OMG!! This is the first video of yours I’ve ever seen - the youtube algorithm showed it to me. I think you’re great! I don’t usually say this when I make comments online, but I am a psychiatrist, and sadly the epidemic of angry, hostile, narcissistic people is not going anywhere. It’s part of the world we live in. Like you, I don’t understand why someone would observe herself leaving a nasty comment on a total stranger’s youtube channel and not have the awareness of “I’m not okay.” But there it is. I think some of these nasty comments you mention come from cowardly people that hide behind the anonymity of the internet. They say things they would never dare to say to someone face to face. What these mean people do is abusive and their motives for doling out the abuse would make an interesting subject for a psychological study. You are so gracious to acknowledge Teresa. I watch (and enjoy) her channel too.

Unfortunately, social media makes it too easy for people to be dehumanized to some and therefore an easy target for those people who don’t have a voice or platform in face to face conversation to cowardly make mean comments. 99% of these people never would say these things in “real “life. It really is sad. Who really cares what they think anyways?

Idk what brings people to say or do what they do, but I find myself reminding my own self more and more frequently these days that “hurt people hurt people” bc they seem to prove it true. Thank heavens, the majority of our world consists of very nice people. I think Cyber Bullying is so easy for people to commit! It's very easy to be mean when you're sitting at your computer. I found this video to be insightful and informative. I am a 69 yr old retired teacher who happens to practically live in leggings in the fall and winter. While for me a tunic length is usually my style of choice I recently, GASP! Wore a regular length t-shirt with my leggings OUTSIDE my house to go to a nephew’s football game and my husband told me I looked great! Who knew that if you step out of your comfort zone, you just might surprise yourself! You were one of my first channels to subscribe to and I love your sense of humor and common sense. I have found when someone feels the need to put down, or comment negatively about someone else, in their pea brain, they feel that they are above or better than others. Oh Angela, we love you because you are honest and down to earth. I saw the pink 'jean' jacket you promoted from Walmart and while I don't wear pink, I could see what good quality it was. I buy some things from Walmart and they are very good quality. About the rude comments, keyboard warriors, that's all they have to do is be rude, how sad. Their Mom's obviously did not teach them about if ' you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything'. I love your channel. From the beginning I clicked with you-today when you said, I’m from Detroit-well there it was, I’m from Detroit, 40 some years ago, and we do keep it real 😂. To Christine’s comment about what you’re getting rid of, I loved it, watched it last night, when you grabbed a hand full of denim on the backside out of shape jeans - I knew of two pair that I needed to throw away. They were the last of my COVID jeans. Nancy, and the rest-if you don’t have something good to say, don’t say anything at all-it’s just unnecessary.
