I've said it before. Without the Mustang II, the Mustang would not still being made. The Mustang II was actually a sales success.

I had a '78 Mustang hatchback...... With a 500hp, 347cid V8. 9.88 in a 1/4 mile. It was a decent looking, sturdy car.

I despise the author bashing 60's and 70's vehicles for not having features that didn't even exist at the time. That makes the author look like an idiot.

The author was wrong too...The New Yorker was not slow nor unreliable or lacking of options they had power, performance and had all the luxury car options of the day..Demon 340 was the high performance model and also handled good and other cars he talked about were full of lies too..

Every car from '73 on was stupid. 0:27 that thing sticking thru hood was that a factory option? .

You think Jay Leno knows his image is being used for these videos?

Could have been shorter. Tip: watch this video at 1,5 times speed. You won't miss anything.

1970 Chrysler New Yorker handled really good, better than GM/Ford products of the era!! Quick, powerful cars too! They did 140 plus mph(same car as Polara Cop car that did 150 mph)..Performance 5 second range 0-60 and upper 13's in the 1/4 mile, these were powerful, quick cars for being a 4200 lbs luxury car!! Turning radius was good, nothing worse than a new 2024 half ton truck! What quality issues? these were reliable!! Not much innovation? Chrysler was the first to have electronic ignition..They had all the options of any other luxury car, furthermore the Imperial competion was for Lincoln and Cadillac.. Front ends lasted 200,000 miles and more they rarely wore out..Worst thing was a easy to change in 15 minutes idler arm that after 150,000 on average started to go out again low priced and easy to change!

Why not show the actual production cars rather than one off custom builds? If I want to see customs, I'd go to a video that was about customs. Also, the voice over is padded. It restates the same points ad infinitum
