Another great video Bobby. The ending was amazing on how friendly the local restaurant owner was and treated everyone like family. You can tell he is proud of his place and that he can make is customers feel like family and having an amazing time. Also seeing you and your crew enjoying a meal and laughs next to the ocean doesn't get any better. Also, great choice of background music for the dinner portion and the smiles and the ladies dancing. It wrapped the video perfectly.

The thing to watch for when med mooring is crossed anchor chains. Can be a real mess when you go to leave and other boats have fouled your anchor chain.

Unfortunately the cheap docking in Greece is over. These small ports have handed over the reservation system to a commercial company, which instantly tripled the prices. So, what used to be 8 euro per day is now 25 to 50 euro per day. And mind you, this is next to the steep TEPAI tax you need to pay for sailing in Greece. In other words, it is a bit of a double charge. Then again, also Croatia has gone nuts on the tax for boaters, so has Montenegro, which means the days of cheap cruising in that part of the Med are almost over. Luckily in Greece you are still allowed to anchor out, but certain areas are so unprotected from the wind and swells that it is not comfortable to stay outside, which means you will have to go into a port.

Oh yeah. I am Greek and I can see the both sides. As native I want for my country a higher fee for higher income from tourist industry but if I was traveling from abroad I would like to approach places that I can spend less money and enjoy these beauties like Greece can offer.

@@Gk-ug6gu you are Right GK, I understand the fee with electric and water is higher(as it should be) and this specific island is not on the most expensive level. The benefit is the money they get to spend ON the island, helping the local economy. I love the way they were treated at the restaurant. in most Greek islands, the service is like that. My touring friends and I were delighted to choose which catch of the day we like to eat. It cannot be any fresher, it cannot be any better !

@@BringBacktheGreeks Yes, reality is that we have 2 types of people. People who wants to spend their money and help local community and people who want to keep their money and save their pockets. Everyone choose how to spend his money. I'm not here to judge anyone. They are free to do anything they want. So it's not totally expected that people would spend money. As I said before I don't care they are free to do anything they want, but I prefer when people coming and boost our crap economy. PS: I'm glad you had nice experience from your journey here in Greece. In villages up the mountains hospitality it's even better. We have tremendous mainland too. You are free to discover it.
