Brings back memories of my time on the Greek islands. They are also really nice from shore. We'd stay on one island after another. You need time to wander through the little villages and get to know their cycle of daily life. The fishermen went out each day at long before sunrise and were bringing in their catch and having morning coffee. It was cool to sit by the dock at a cafe with an amazing coffee and a yoghurt and honey for breakfast watching them ply their trade. An old man would beat starfish onto a stone wall for several minutes to tenderize it. Then we'd have it charcoal roasted for dinner.

Those roof top heaters have vacuum tubes in them and their water will stay hot all night if not 2 days. Hot water in greece is keep at about 150 to 170F ,my guess, you do not need much for a warm shower!! Being from Florida I researched a bit as i was curious about them as well. Electric is very expensive in greece so these are pretty commonly used.

In Mast...the easiest way to deal with a main...Bobby...also mention when you furl the main in... do it on a port tack as the vertical slot (where the sail rolls into the mast) in the mast is offset to the right of the mast i.e. the slot is not directly centered in the mast.
