Nothing worse than cold hands and feet, mine also hurt quite a bit when they get chilled. History is so interesting! I've heard more than one traveler say the same thing about the humane treatment of animals around the world can be shocking, the harder the people live the harder the animals live as well, so sad. Fun trip however, thanks for taking us with!

Thanks for your comment Bobby. Yes, ohhh isn't the pain intense in the toes, wow! I really don't have the right shoes this time :(. As for the animals, yes it's horrific, and although is sometimes relative to the standard of living of the population it doesn't always equate. I always walk around with cat food and feed any homeless cats that I see, but these dogs are just too big and the weather too harsh. I felt helpless :(. still bothers me now.

Hahaha he was pretty nasty, didn't get that name for nothing. However, relative to the day everyone was pretty nasty, thank god we weren't alive then. Can't imagine what poor locals and farmers went through every time an army passed :(
