Hi ya , Becca you always have wise words , I hadn’t been going in my sewing room for a while , because yes you guessed it , I was overwhelmed. So I’ve sorted , passed forward, and trashed a lot of bit , well not trashed I ent them to the charity shop. Thanks so much , you always make me feel better. Love Donna England.

Wonderful, Donna! I'm so glad you're feeling a little less pressured in your sewing room. I know if I have too many things hanging over my head, it completely destroys my ability to create!

It’s called your “humble” block Becca. I have several quilts with one in there somewhere. 😂 You did a fabulous job on it. Bravo! 👏 👏 👏 💕

Watched the reply while making my flying geese for a QAL, and you kept me company, thank you! Every single quilt you shared is gorgeous, each so different, but all beautiful. You had my eyes watering with the sweet story about your quilt coming back to you, what a sweet gesture. But so appropriate. You give and give, and it was time for you to receive. Hugs to you!!!❤️

1st quilt, it's beautiful. I support your decision to leave in the mistake, and for the surprise mistake, yes, that's where you were when you made it. I call my mistakes- personal design flair. All your quilts are beautiful!

I agree your hair is gorgeous! I just got my panda pattern today from Fat Quarter Shop. I still have to pull fabric. I might button the eyes depending on the person I am gifting it to. I am asking for the magnolia pattern for Christmas. The panda will keep me busy for a while. I think I will scrap the sweaters and grunge the bears. Thank you for sharing your quilts!

I think the Panda quilt would be an AMAZING project to use up some old clothing! Wouldn't it be neat to make some pandas wearing sweaters using a loved one's old clothing?!

@@sewbecca that is an awesome idea! Thanks for that. Goodwill should be well stocked of unusual fabrics that fit that!

I was always told there’s an old saying from many years back in the Quilting World. It’s “Only God is Perfect “ And allot of the Quilters used to make a mistake on purpose to prove the saying. Also I’m like you I have made a quilt for my 4 children 8 grandchildren and the spouse/Girlfriend or boyfriends Now I have 3 Great Grandchildren and they have more than one baby quilt. I finally made myself a quilt. Not to say I made many baby quilts for all of my children’s friends Last year I finally made myself one It’s so much better to make quilts and give them away I love it Enjoyed your videos Thank you for everything you do ❤😊

You are talking about mistakes in the quilt. Just remember that the Amish always make a mistake because they say only God is perfect. The quilt is beautiful. Great job Becca

Where do you get the boards that you wrap the fabric in?
@sewbecca Жыл бұрын
They are Comic Book boards - you can find them on Amazon here: amzn.to/46oQDj7

Like your Polar Bear - you are not suppose to point out your mistakes Becca, they are design choices. 😆 With Legit Kits - buy the digital pattern and use your own fabric stash makes it way cheaper

I just wanted folks to know that my stuff isn't perfect either - so it's ok to try! Sometimes I feel like pointing out my mistakes will encourage others to not feel intimidated!
