You Won't Believe The Selfless Act Of Kindness By This Man In Astore! 🇵🇰

Another amazing day in Pakistan that didn't go as planned, in the best way possible of course. I had already made an agreement to pay 800 rupees to one of my hotel staff to drop me at Rama Lake, 13 km from the hotel. I didn't want to feel rushed with someone waiting for me, so I had already planned to just hitchhike back when I was ready. Instead I was given a free ride, both ways, with extreme patience and a smiling face the entire way. Throw in the friendly faces and warm welcomes from the Pakistani tourists, and the day has been made. Oh, and I almost forgot the reason that I was venturing up in the mountains in the first place, for the beautiful scenery at Rama Lake. I was told great things about the hospitality in Gilgit-Baltistan, but what happened to me in this video is something you truly have to experience to believe. Sit back and enjoy the Karakoram mountains as well as the friendly people that call it's valleys home. 🇵🇰

Blue moons ago as a White American, I had a negative perception of Pakistan, until I traveled with my good friends for 10 days and visited the most spectacular places I have seen so far. Ppl were hospitable and would not take a dime for anything and always had a smile on their faces. Food was fantastic, i love spicy food thanks to my Pakistani friends I developed a palette over time. When he was trying to drop you he was looking for someone who can speak English than he just left you at a safe place and left you alone. He didn’t wanted any money. He has done all this just to show his Astore hospitality and friendship that’s it. He would have wanted you to stay at the place where they were dancing. It might be his home village..!! But because there was no one to talk to you so there was no chance to make you stay you might feel bored or he doesn’t want to halt your plans. I am from Gilgit living in Australia

"Don't talk to Strangers" does not work in Pakistan , especially Northern Areas ...people are very kind and hospitable without any greed in general. Only lack of education puts them behind the rest of the world . They have big hearts and offer whatever they can to the visitors , especially foreign tourists . Foreign phones come blocked by your network provider in states,let alone Pakistan you can’t even use any sim card from another network in your phone even if you are in America,those network Companies do that so you won’t use any other SIM card in that phone other than the network it was originally on,so it’s got nothing to do with Pakistan but the phone itself,I live in the UK and if I go to Pak with my phone I have to get my phone unlocked from here before going to Pak.
