Getting Police Escorted To A Remote Mountain Village in Pakistan 🇵🇰

It's Day 2 of my trek between the Kalash Valleys and on night number one a policeman arrived at the home of the family I was staying with. I was never really told why he was there nor did I feel the need for him to finish the hike with me and my guide Raja. Nonetheless, I had no say in the matter and his company and endless smile turned out to be a great addition to the trip. This isn't a dangerous region although it is one that very few foreigners visit. Enjoy the final stretch through the remote Hindu Kush mountains to the village of Grum on my hike from Bumburet to Rumbur Valley in the mystical Kalash region of Northwestern Pakistan. 🇵🇰
