IMPORTANT UPDATE, PLEASE DO NOT SKIP: I have decided to move my non-Vietnam travel content to a second channel. If you enjoy these travel videos, please subscribe to Chris Lewis 2.0 (second travel channel): kzbin.info/door/oqGJPtvsPpALlhtqB1lcHAfeatured After a lot of thinking, I have decided to keep this current channel a Vietnam channel, and use this second channel as a travel channel. Good news? Same content as before, and double the amount. You'll get Vietnam videos plus travel videos, just on two different channels. The next few videos will still be on this channel, but then I will begin switching over in about a week. Cheers!

If you land in Islamabad city, the starter tourist resort Murree is 40 minute by road (staying near Mall Road is convenient, but must bargain) and if weather allows, the convenient way to access Skardu Valley in the north is by Islamabad-Skardu return flight by PIA. Later, if you continue tour to south, go to Lahore city 4 hours by Motorway from Islamabad and then further south to seaport city Karachi by one way flight, where you can conclude tour from Karachi airport. In large cities, stay near upper class areas and communicate with educated people. Chris has the advantage of native language, he can go & stay anywhere. If you have your own plan, use these tips as guideline.

@ammaraftab10962 жыл бұрын
@@chrismixlewis hahaha. thanks buddy for showing positive things of my country. but keep yourself safe because there are good ones and bad ones all over the world and you're a tourist and bad ones can plan something against you. After Afghanistan war has finished, Pakistan destroyed all the conspiracy of India which they used in Afghanistan against Pakistan by sending terrorists of TTP (tahreek e Taliban Pakistan) inside Pakistan through borders areas by giving ($$) to them and they came in Pakistan and killed thousands of innocents, children, women e.t.c but now Pakistan has completed full border fencing between Afghanistan and Pakistan and India cannot send terrorists from there and that's why India is so disturbed because they can't execute what they were used to of doing for 20 years and that's the reason they are so desperate of doing those negative activities in Pakistan. So tourists specially foreigners are coming in Pakistan and showing positive images of Pakistan to the world is a very good thing for Pakistan and the enemies of Pakistan including India and Israel are not happy and they are finding ways to do something to tourists and that's why I am saying you to keep yourself safe because your safety is beneficial for Pakistan. Trust good people but always keep precautions like "send live locations" to someone whenever you reach any new place and always keep in touch with Police of that area and "Rangers". don't take me wrong brother, I am just writing so long comments for you because we need you to be safe. Thanks and love from Karachi Pakistan.

I can help you to speak urdu free of cost 😁
@mariamj8172 жыл бұрын
if chris doesn't reply here's my advice, search on youtube for videos teaching some basic urdu words, the pronunciation of some words can be a little difficult if ur just starting out. once you get some of the basics down it will be easy to understand some structuring of setences and what not. It also helps if you have someone who speaks urdu to help you out and practice conversations with. this is how my friend learned from scratch :)

Yo! I always appreciate people who are interested in learning a unique language so here's my advice: 1. Check out fluent forever by Gabriel Wayner. Best book ever. 2. Get a good grammar book. Urdu Grammar is fairly complicated for a native English speaker (if you are), you'll need to spend a fair amount of time practicing it. 3. Get a good dictionary. My personal favorite is Rekhta Urdu. it's online and super accurate. Best of luck!

@@chrismixlewis Thanks everyone. I will follow your advice. :) I am a native spanish speaker, don‘t know how that complicates things even more.

Your vlogs are so addictively (just made it up for lack of a better word) immersive compared to other foreigner vloggers. Your ability to blend in gets you the sincerest interactions.

You are back to enjoy the Pashtoon hospitality! Hashim Amla is such a nice lad. I am sure you will have great time in Pak. Perhaps get a longer visa this time so you can return to India and show more cities, it seems like you had to leave things were warming up there! Although Pak hospitality stands out, but entire sub continent is very welcoming!
