Best way to get rid of the smell of those games is to put a few games inside a shoe box along with with 2 or 3 drier sheets and leave them in there for 3 days. The drier sheets will eventually absorb most of the smell. If after 3 days they still smell, then leave them inside the box for a week or 2. Same thing if the GameCube smells, same method works on it too.

nice pull. for the smoke smell….put the games into a trash bag with a few dryer sheets. tie bag shut and leave for a few days. that should get the smell out

Put the games in a bag with some kitty litter and seal it up. Let it sit for a week or so. It'll suck up most of the smell.

Question: Can you take those booklets & put them in a large plastic box & sprinkle Baking Soda between the pages & booklets & leave them for a while & Shake them perhaps once a day for a week?? Do you think that would remove some or all of the smell?? ~ Just wondering..

John, hand sanitizer, stay away from the paper, in fact you could just remove the paper on the covers, try not to get in the underneath plastic, and let everything dry.. paper probably doesn't have much smell it was covered by the plastic on the exterior, on the other games stay away from the Paper Tags that are glued on... I sell a lot of books every once in awhile I get some of their and dubious shape they smell, those charcoal bags are worthless, even leaving them outside to air out doesn't work, some of these that were more valuable had embossed leather covers, they all had to go in the trash.. Hard plastic as much easier to work with... it's not like you can soak this stuff, like a piece of valuable glass, or even try some goo off, to remove a sticker... I rarely run across any of the really good stuff like you have, I did nail a bunch of stuff for me - dead guy's house, a couple big bucks sealed games, & some miscellaneous older games some which sold some which I still have.. although I got a bunch of other really cool stuff same place - some sold - some of which I haven't listed , there's always a place for fat guy shirts jackets 2X 3x 4X ..I never got into games I just don't have the patience... As far as the Box damage, I would just disclose it, it's for a kid they're just going to tear up the box anyways... the last kids Scrabble weird game - the plastic was really crushed -I sold had some damage, it sold but there were no others available.. Clean with Windex, it has ammonia and will deodorize as well as get the cigarette tar. Put it on a rag.

Shin Megami Tensei Devil Summoner 1 and 2 are super valuable right now they didn't make too many of them i believe especially the first one. Those alone paid for more than the whole bin hahaha i'm lucky enough to have both CIB. you should see Devil Summoner 2 with the plush edition that thing is worth alot now

Ya they are the only two of the Shin Megami titles that didn't get a reprint close to the end of the ps2 life cycle so they kept their value compared to all of the others.
