Dumpster Diving at Retail Stores - We Found Food to Keep and Donate!

We haven't done retail diving in a while, so we decided to try that this morning! We are so excited to have found snacks and food to donate and keep for ourselves :) We are going on a road trip to NY next week and are super excited to share more dives from on the road! We may also go live during some of our longer drive days to keep ourselves entertained by talking to you guys! So stayed tuned for lots of fun in the next coming weeks! Hi Guys, I have been watching you since you started and today Aug 21, Wednesday, My Temper Hit the roof, When That women came out and said not to take out of that Dumpster, Compared to me, and tempers the both of you are Angels, What is the BIG FREEKIN DEAL, I would have told her to make me stop;, Then tell her to tell her lazy ass owner to take his shit inside and guard it until the trash man comes, Because unless he/she is going to sleep here all night, I am coming back over and over again. That will keep that owner up at night! The 2 most kindest people who donate so much stuff to so many people,. Also So what you guys make a few bucks for the stuff you dig for, in those dumpsters, in that heat. Good for you!! Dont let other People push you around so easy, You both DESERVE to be treated A "LOT" better then the other divers out there. Kelly, try some aquarium gravel on top of the dirt in your planters. Cover the dirt completely to keep Bones from digging in the dirt.

Split peas last for years! If you have leftover ham and or the bone place in a pot it fits in add a couple of chopped split peas cover with water or low sodium chicken broth. Bring to a rapid boil then turn down and simmer until peas are soft. Remove the bone give to a dog you like. Stir and serve as is or blend until you get the consistency you like. Delicious especially when very cold outside and served with homemade rolls or bread. ENJOY You might want to take the karaoke machine home to test out. That outlet may not work.

Cars like fresh clean dirt, to lay on or use the bathroom on. They are funny like that. Had to move 3 of my potted plants out side just to keep my cat away from them. Great job guys.

22:49 my cats actually eat on my aloe plants. I’m not sure why, but they do. And mine are so big they have to be on the floor, so there’s no stopping it. I also have several spider plants that are just for them. They love eating them, I’m assuming like a grass replacement since they never go outside. They also make kits where you can grow grass just for cats, and it’s a lot of fun. I think bones would enjoy it since it would sit in his windowsill with him. I bought mine on Amazon.

Hello! If you put a sprinkle of Chili powder it will keep Bones and other "insects" as well from digging up your dirt. The smell will not hurt them.

Hi Kelly and Alex. I had to laugh when you guys started talking about the fair. I had a friend in college who told me that it was their childhood dream for them to work for them. So when the fair came to town and set up near our school, believe it or not, my friend dropped out of school to work for them. For the next couple of months they ended up living in what looked like a closet with a bunk bed that happened to be in a semi trailer. Each trailer had like 4 or 5 of these and they had roommates in the bunks. Only the company's management lived in the RVs. To each their own, I guess.

The high school I went too does a canned food drive for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It been over 30 years of the school doing this. My class would save up money each month and git the local grocery store to get food and some little treats for stocking stuffers. It was great doing this

Hi Kelly and Alex! I was reading the comments here. There were a lot of comments about how to keep a cat from digging into flower pots. I know you like femora for your newsletters, how about a collection of tips you get from subscribers. Those tips will keep any future cats from digging into my pots. Was that an aloe plant near Bones ? FYI..Aloe is dangerous for cats. Although cats usually will not die from ingesting aloe, it can cause severe vomiting and diarrhea, which may lead to dangerous levels of dehydration if left untreated for too long.
