To be profitable, NIO needs to reduce R&D and stop building swap station, otherwise they will never make money. But now Firefly will require new swap stations. So more spending. Therefore they cannot become profitable.This company is becoming a dead end. They just don't have a good product. Before you jump on me , I am a long and own thousands of shares. Worst investment ever.

Pure example of stock manipulation by Goldman Sachs. They downgrade it but have not sold any of their shares. They are trying to loosen long hold retailers into selling their shares in NIO so they can add more to their holdings. Not happening.

There balance sheet shows a steady decline in reserves. They aren’t cash flow positive since cash injections have been coming through dilution. The major issue with NIO is that they have too much hype. BaaS sucks as a revenue generator and they have way too many models that have too much overlap. NIO investors are masochists.

nio will NOT be positive free cash flow in 2026 or any time soon. Too many car models (I counted 10) and each has oo low production volume to be cost efficient. And now they announce even more models, more investments, more spending. The power swap station is a limiting factor to their expansion, it's too unique, and specific. UK alone plans to have 150,000 powerchargers by 2025 - How many swapstations does NIO have in the UK (or US, or Europe in general)? The car industry is very competitive. Nio's brand recognition is a major headwind against Tesla or BYD. BYD has the battery business segment, Tesla has the energy and IA business (FSD, Robot, etc), NIO has nothing else but EV's. It's a company that will go bust or good for a takeover by BYD.

Ima hold on, I think they provide alot more value, and convenience than testla. Testla sales are decreasing in China, and nio will enter over 20 different markets in the next few years.
