Noticed you're on stock tensioner.....one of the biggest issue with these cars is snapping tensioners. Make sure to grab a Metco brace for it or just upgrade to a Roush 3V tensioner. Good insurance. That would be a good time to throw a fresh belt on and check all your pulley's for play/bearing wear along with the supercharger.

Those 2 gauges to the left are so old school lol. That’s the same style gauges my car came with! Auto meter Lunar series! So if and when you replace them, keep them. There’s still folks that look for those vintage gauges. Because as you probably already noticed, they light up green and match the factory cluster well! I really like them.

The attacks will be super raspy compared to the stingers. The stingers are perfect. Really deep with a little rasp if you run no cats. And their loud! Especially with long tubes. But you may like the super loud raspy sound! Everyone’s different! Enjoy

Stingers all the way! I had stingers on and then put ataks on - a week later I put the stingers back on. Ataks have no real sound - just loud as hell! Go stingers! Beautiful car man!

It’s not the “ big boy” 2.3 is tiny. The car has the old style lunar gauges which are really hard to find. Change the trans oil, put a McLeod twin disc in it and do a 26 spline input shaft.

You are correct about the 03’s. So get this, my brother drove the crap out of his car and was at 100,000 miles. He went to a dealership to do an oil change on his lunch break and the idiots did not put the plug tight onto the pan. He drove it back to work for 20 minutes ran out of oil and that destroyed the engine! Believe it or not, they denied it and it had just went out of warranty. My brother ended up paying over $10,000 for a new 04 terminator motor through SVT. He even has a certificate and a letter stating this from SVT. He actually had them takeoff the old valve covers from his other original engine and they put it on this engine thats in the car. In case you don’t know, the valve covers actually have the signatures of the guys that worked on that particular car. I told my brother that was a smart move. So even though his car powertrain has over 100,000 miles, his engine now only has about 1200 miles on it. And yes, doing that took care of that head problem that the 03’s had.

Yes the 04’s have the DB 9 thread heads but there are late 03’s that came with those as well such as my red 10th anniversary terminator and my azure blue 03 Mach 1. The intercooler pump runs when the car is running (after it reaches a certain temperature) so if it’s cold and you start it and immediately check, it might not be running. You can jump the relay to check the pump or check it when the car is warm. I hope you keep the stock wheels. Looks great like it is.

Just adjust your clutch pedal forward there is a diagram somewhere to show you how to do that but over time it wears a little. I had that same problem for like a year or so and couldnt figure it out, thought i needed a trans. Adjusted the pedal and it shifts very smoothly now 👍🏽

Another thing to upgrade is the transmission input shaft. I believe the factory one is a 10 spline and they are know for breaking under high horsepower conditions. People usually upgrade to a 26 spline. Loving the car, it’s my absolute dream and hopefully I can get one this new year!

Hello..I've had my 03 for almost 19 yrs...have done all the major mods...Blower..cams..gear...trans...clutch..rear diff..better posi...frame ties....rear IRS bushing kit...three alts...got a KMJ 200 amp now...Aeroforce gauge with wide band for air/fuel...all Autometer gauges including a voltmeter..very important..FR500 wheels..the real ones..!!...car has a Whipple 2.3..Ford GT pumps..3.25 upper..4lb lower..21 lbs boost 640 rwhp on a 93 hot tune...4:10 gears...35,000 mi..Redfire...Bassani X..Borla Stingers..this spring going to install Flowmaster two chamber mufflers...better sound for the cams...!!!..has all the aluminum tanks..powder coated silver..strut tower brace..Hid lights..and of course the 99/01 amber tail lights..hope you enjoy your Cobra.

I like this channel and love those Terminators!!!! It’s nice to see a young man doing as well as you are,hard work pays off. I grew up with 5.0 Mustangs, had five different ones and one 4.6 early model 2 valve. I was doing mid twelves on street tires in the early to mid 90’s which was respectable in those days. I’m not positive how good of an idea it is but I remember people saying to put a straight axle under those Terminators. Something about breaking axles I believe, but that was way back when they came out so I’m sure there’s excellent upgrades for those axles. I’m looking forward to this content- SUBBED !!!!

I have been all the way full build front to back . The factory intercooler pump is what I went back to . It is 100percent dependable . Do not change it out . Kooks are the best headers . I am on my 3rd tremecc the last one is brand new from Ford. Its a magnum . Less than 10 k on this trans it is a pos . Sending the trans to tick performance in North Carolina so it can handle my 800plus crank horsepower . I use a spec two clutch . My car has 207 thousand miles on it . Bob Kurgan is the best tuner for terminators . He doesn't care about dyno wars he makes safe , drivable mapping . Good luck with your new terminal!!!!

04 dark charcoal inserts here also 🙌🏻. For exhaust setup I’d go with either kooks or arh for longtubes. ARH does have better fitment since they tuck better up under the car to where there not scraping on everything like the kooks but I mean there’s some days I wish I would have gone with kooks because that’s the header brand I’ve always wanted but I do love my ARH’s. I went with the 1 3/4 ARH headers with there off-road x and borla ataks and it’s amazing.

With the Metco lower you should use an aftermarket damper. Frequent oil changes also go a long way and are cheap insurance. These motors tend to have bearing failures if not properly maintained. Ask me how I know 😁

You definitely have a billet pulley set up I almost bought that same one for my 03 Termi, this one is the best way to get it bring 04 the seats the plug threads head cooling it’s so damn sweet!! I’m seriously thinking about trading my black 3.6 KB 800+ 10GT500 20 over all forged MGW and tons of mods but I miss the size and handling of these Termis the independent rear handles better than my 10GT500!
