Grandma could be played by Michael Learned. My daughter did the same thing at Christmas. I noticed some gifts were missing from under the tree, she denied it, so I started looking in her room and the adjoining bathroom. Found the gifts unwrapped and under the sink cabinet. Jane Seymour for Grandma. One of my granddaughters unwrapped gifts and rewrapped them. She couldn’t find clear tape to used so she used black electrician tape! Busted! Matt, I had 2 boys 12 months, 2 weeks apart. Since they have grown up, I have heard way too many stories about their adventures that I had no idea about.

My heart about broke when you spoke of how much you loved you mother in law. I adored mine. I lost my mom at a young age and She was my mom in every way. My best memories are from her. In her last days in the hospital I stayed by her side. She always took care of her kids. It was my honor and love. She came out of her coma before she passed and asked me if it was Sunday, important church day for her. She then said You are my angel. Those where her last words to me. Thank you for letting me share that. I loved her so much. Christmas I miss her so much.

Isn’t it a blessing to have that memory. Not every daughter in law can say that. I miss mine too even though I loved my mother dearly. I had to live without my Mom for so many years even though she was still alive due to her Alzheimer’s and other contributing factors. Thank you for sharing. I know it still brings tears to your eyes as it does mine, but what a special moment between the two of you that you will carry in your heart forever. ❤️ Grandma Doss

Beginning when I was about 12, our mother made up codes that only she knew, and the code changed every year. Before we could open gifts, EVERYONE had to figure out what the code was...a different code for each of us 5 siblings. Later, the code game included spouses and grandchildren. Figuring out the code was as almost as much fun as opening gifts! Prior to that our families would all get together on Christmas Eve...Grandma and Grandpa, 12 aunts and uncles, Mom and Dad...and 32 first cousins! Those were the good old days!

Oh how much I loved this video. I hope y'all will do another and not wait until Christmas to do it. Now in answer to I think the first question you asked us to answer....I would pick Michael Learned to play LeaAnn's part. Matt my son has also told some tales now that he is older and I am amazed at how he used get out of the house from the second floor and get back in the same way. He is 58 now, and helps take care of me. "Driving Miss Daisy" as he calls it. I will be 85 next month, so there are definitely things I can't do anymore or don't do as well. Leanne, you would love Karen Kingsbury's books. I had to watch this in pieces as I'm raising my disabled Grandson. When I finished, I went right into Chad's then K&S. Getting to bed a bit later than I'd planned. LOL I'm usually up late but have to drive almost 2 hrs, leaving at 5:30 in the morning. Sean is having a sedated procedure at All Children's in St Pete. They really are just needing to get a look in his eyes and even at 16 he's developmentally delayed, like a baby and won't stay still enough for a good exam. He had a stroke in utero and is legally blind and now has cataracts in both eyes. Praying for those asking for prayer. Love to all.

I asked the question about have you ever had anyone other than family over for Christmas. As a single woman (never married) I have been in situations especially since moving away from family where I was alone on Christmas. When we were growing up we often had guests to dinner for holidays. Usually older single people from my parents work or from church. One year we had an entire family for the meal. We also had a gift for the guests. I often spend holidays alone. Sometimes, the sadness and loneliness is really hard to handle.

Didn’t get to watch on Christmas Day as am in Pennsylvania visiting my son and his family but just finished watching today the 26th and really enjoyed the video so much. Have watched since Chad would drive over to take care of the animals and Adler had to be carried in Chads arms. Brought back so many wonderful memories! I am so glad Batman is at Kyle’s property and Smokey is at your place. I cry thinking of them as I loved them so so much. I just had to put down my precious little Teddy on the 19th who had a bad heart murmur and await getting his ashes to keep on the piano with their dog Klause who several months ago also was up in age and very sick. I totally understand the pain of going through losing our precious animals brings 💔💔💔💔 I am so happy that Matt is now a part of everything. Yes Grandma and Grandpa you have no idea how much different another 10 years things will be. Just turned 78 December 4th. At 68 was still caring for my late husband at our home. When I was 75 and he had to be put into a facility for dementia I then moved in with my older daughter and her husband. My health in these last 3 years has gone downhill and I am so grateful. I no longer have the energy I did so knowing Matt is there for you two is a huge blessing trust me. Hope you had an awesome Christmas with your beautiful family like I have had here in Pennsylvania visiting my youngest son. He has since he was in Jr High, the teachers begged me to have him shave it off. I said nope, it’s his choice. He looked older than the teachers. Grandma, this is for you. Lastly, I'd like to ask for prayers for Ray Barlow life quickly degrading and his mother Kelly with the girls facing their loss and needing support to manage. She is a crafter on YT and we are heartbroken the cancer spread after such an aggressive surgery. He is a 27 yr old Police officer w wife.

I strongly dislike TV & have lived without one for about 15 years, so their channels have provided quality entertainment as well as a feel of family & friendship. Excellent Q and A. I had boys my sister had girls- I take boys anyday ❤️yes they save confessing to adulthood because we can’t do anything about it at this point. It was wonderful seeing ya’ll like that. It helps us understand each of you. I don’t mind the focus being on your Lovely animals, but getting to know each of you is delightful. I hope there is more of that. I agree with one question and they ask to see what Matt does when he isn’t there with you. He past jobs, his buddy’s, hanging out with Libby.
