Being around Ollie and Finn talking and playing, probably helped , too! Being around other kids, regularly brings it right out. If you had a preJ group a couple days a week, it would help tremendously, in socializing and interacting! Just a suggestion, since there are no if bro or sis for h, yet! I agree, if you don't click with a medical practitioner of any kind, find someone else. It has to be a good fit for you, especially for a child. The thing with speech issues is that they're sometimes a sign of other things a child needs help with & when a child feels comfortable around a medical practitioner like a speech therapist, the speech therapist will be able to pick up on any other issues & get the help you need.

Ok…here’s my thoughts on Jaxton and speaking. I have 3 adult children, 4 grands. None of them had any issues with speech or talking except for my younger grandson, he was just a bit slower at being a talker than the others but now he’s a great talker. He’s almost 9 now. Just get him around other kids his age and he’ll pick it up in no time!! Don’t need a therapist, he did just turn 2, after all! 😉🙂

Don’t worry every child is different and they can have disabilities and might not talk until their older in High School that is how that works because sometimes every kid can have a disability and might be different. any way “you guys are doing a great job as parents trying to get Jaxton to communicate”.

Evey child is diff they all develop at there own pace n look jaxon walking so early and doin lots of other things i wouldn't worry a great deal . Sesrch miss rachel on you tube she is so good for helping kids not only with words and sounds but counting qnd movmnet and there feelings im in Scotland my wee gran daughter just turned one she says a few words but she does alot of actions to she loves miss rachel x

I wouldn't stress out about them talking they will do it at their own time. I over stressed with my first child but was more lenient with second. Both my children grew up to be in the medical field and speak perfectly fine

I have four kids and my first two didn’t hardly talk on my third child was born here he was about a year and he was talking almost perfect sentences so I think that you need to get dressed around more kids that are talking to help him with his speech

My grandson who will be 3 on May second still does not talk a lot, starting to but I guess as people say he's way behind. I think it's up to the child he might have an issue but told my daughter next time he has his check-up is to see how his hearing is, I don't think it's a big deal all children are different ❤

Ya I think that if you get him in a daycare once or twice a week so he can play with other kids his age he might learn more that way or just reading more books before bed or anytime of the day without any tv or game extractions for him might help him learn words. Just the one word picture books would be great to say over and over.
