Kevin those projects are gorgeous. Whomever receives those from you are going to greatly appreciate the craftsmanship. When you get ready to sell them I will definitely get some. I love to buy hand made products instead of mass manufactured. Every thing you and Rachel make and do has your love that goes into it. I don't comment very often but I love watching your families homestead life.

My question to you, Kevin, is there anything you can't do? It would be easier to ask that question than trying to tell us all the things you can do. My goodness son, you are multi-talented in every direction. You make beautiful pieces of woodwork and you have all the tools there in your shop to help make all that possible. It's always a pleasure watching your videos. I never know what one of your talents you're going to show us next. You even make sitting on the top of a dog house in the barn pleasurable to watch. You're such a great guy and you're so blessed with talents, a good wife, wonderful kids, and a mass of beautiful animals around you. God has truly poured out His blessings on you my dear friend.

I thought the same. Anytime the board is used the food or blood from meat will go into the holes. It could be filled and you would still see where the holes were.

I love this video. When we got. Married 47 years ago. Everything we had for our house was second hand. Because we love to buy all our furnishings from oak. That was so expensive so we need to save more. We did and six years later and having 3 kids. We finally went to the store that was so famous for ther oak furniture. 2 years & $30 thousand later we had all we want. In the Netherlands we did not have visa or mastercard. You first save and than buy. That is how we are raised and our 3 kids to. We still have all the same furnishing. And still love it. Looks still beautiful. Good luck Kevin with making beautiful things. God bless you all. 🤗❤👵🏻

Hi Kevin. Happy to see you are interested in woodworking. Please use push sticks and feather board when cutting on table saw. Also no free hand cutting on saw. Tack a straight edge to wood and use fence at all times. Take it from a fellow woodworker who has been injured. As Matt Cremona would say " Happy Woodworking " .🇯🇲

You should oil one at a time and work it in quickly. I noticed that on 2nd board it showed where you squirted the oil on because it penitrated the wood deeper than 1st one because it sat a little longer. I'm not trying to be critical, I do woodworking and noticed it and was trying to give you suggestions. Your doing a lot of beautiful work and the finishing touch, people notice. They are more will to pay a higher price for good quality products, especially homemade not big businesses

Beautiful job! I loved working with my Dad in his shop, cabinets and finish work. Would like to get in and practice with the lathe again. Often use the various saws, drill press, planer on small projects. My 91 yr old mother still makes butcher block cutting boards, but when she's running the power equipment (esp the table saw) someone is with her. The smell of fresh cut wood brings back lots of memories and the smell of my dad coming in from work with the smell of sawdust on his clothes
