I have heard some in the off metal genre's that sound similar. Ever heard of abruptum? Yeah it's abstract ambient black metal. In other words it's black metal musicians making random noises. This is not unheard of in the more underground metal communities.

Steve you are truly one of the greatest guitarists I love hearing you play and I also learned a lot of stuff by watching you. I've been playing for over 50 years. I learned more guitar playing off of you in the last 10 years then the last 40 years of teaching myself. teaching yourself to play guitar is a huge mistake I tell anyone that tells me they want to learn to play guitar the first thing you need to do is get a teacher. Music is like mathematics it's got to be done only a certain way
