I just sold the Jeff Bridges book the other day on eBay, sent it to the Uk. i did not do quite as well as those comps showed, but I only had it on for a few days and it definitely helped my cashflow so now I can go find more stuff to reinvest in. Great video as usual Mike & God bless.

WOW Mike great score 😮 I bid on a Ray Charles vinyl album 1963 Won it for a $1 The lady couldn’t remember which one I won so she threw in two more of Ray Charles vinyl albums so I actually got all 3 for a $1. Not sure that they’re worth too much but you can’t beat that for $1.

Soylent Green was sooo good! It was one of those movies that had a lasting effect on me. The scene where Edward G. Robinson is watching a screen of beautiful memories (I'll stop there so as not to reveal a spoiler) left such an impact!

Hey Mike - when you go to buy the Bin of Books - does GW let you pick which bin you buy? Or do you just pay for it and they bring you whichever bin they choose?

Been selling 1950s to 1970s westerns, pulp fiction, detectives, and sci fi in lots. Old James Bond, L'amour, Johnstone, etc. Got to find them cheap, but a lot of those can bring $2 to $5 each. Now some like Dune or Foundation Trilogy can bring a lot more.

Black's, for legal people, is generally used for verbiage, lexicon, parlance, etc. All editions enter and omit words and phrases. Plus they look cool :D

For the Star Trek stuff, I would go back and watch the episodes and see if the corrections were actually made in the real production.

I did. And the correction etc. are there. I will explain if and when it sells, but one section is crossed out as OMIT and it wasn't in the episode. Its really cool.

In the Los Angeles area Goodwill has their own scanning & book selling operation online.. just a couple miles south of UCLA University of California Los Angeles on Sepulveda Boulevard, near Washington or Venice, Boulevard they have a specific donation center for books.. they do sell some books there - they're overpriced crappy, & nasty... probably need to be pulped, but that might be too expensive.... if they were smart they would take them up to the big Veterans Hospital, off of Wilshire, the staff will take them leave them in the lobby, and distribute them to patients, that's where I've disposed of large amounts of books sometimes of not really valuable books not worth selling, not worth shipping... still highly readable by many... The attitude treatment given by the staff is not much better?? The big thrift shops probably have it under control in large cities, smaller ones maybe you might have a chance??

Those aren't rivets on the dictionary, they're actually long threaded screws, with special nuts that are flat.. they actually work quite well... just need to find the right box to pre-box it in.... that's what I do with my Beast books or sets, ready to go.... When shipping - throw it in a poly bag so it says nice and dry & tight, within the delivery system.. Baby it's cold out there & wet....LAXVESPA-LOSANGELES
