They've definitely never read it, that's for sure. This entire video contradicts the first part of the book entirely. It's King Solomon's djinns that he sealed in lamps. You aren't conjuring anything, exept mabye some exceptions like Asmoday and Baal who have stories revolving them after the time which they were sealed. However they are strangely historically reasonable and cooperative for demon Kings. That's besides the point. The Ars Goetia itself gives you multiple prayers to protect yourself as you go about forcing the demons to accomplish your goals. It even goes as far as to tell the reader not to use them for selfish reasons, else the demon will sway your heart away from God. I'm not into any specific religion, I just like studying theology and occultism. So from my standpoint, the Ars Goetia actually seems more holy than most of the items handed to people by churches.

These books are entirely possible to be read and nor used- the entire Key of Solomon aside from possibly Griomorum Verum. The Key of Solomon mostly uses holy seals and prayers to extort demons for their powers. It's actually quite difficult to do said rituals and so long as you approach with the mindset you are here to research and not utilize, then do not let it sway you. Grimorium Verum does not use holy rituals and instead directly contacts them. Many warn not to even approach this work unless you are extremely adept at understanding and utilizing your spirituality. You do as you see fit. I had a calling to it and practice my own style of it, you may not want to do it at all. To each's own in spirituality. The Goetia, Lemegeton, and other griomores are not inherently powerful but explain how people can become so.
