The fact that he instantly opens up a backing track for every other preset shows you that the plugin gives loads of inspiration which really is what most ppl are looking for in gear. Well done Rabea!

I remember about 12 yrs ago I had finally started making decent money and I started to put together a small studio..and I was looking at all these rigs and I was looking at thousands of dollars in just rigs..I found something called Amplitube or something like that, it had like 100 different rigs plus every pedal you could dream of....it was the best thing I ever found...I got all the amp and cabinet choices plus I could mix and match them all with pedals, adjust every knob just like on the actual rig or pedal. Nothing is better than having the actual gear, but this can allow a small time musician to go way beyond what they could normally get their hands on. I combined this with a single foot switch and an Akai MIDI Pad controller, some cheap Alesis monitors. Along with that I got an electronic drum kit that came with software that gave me about 50 different library kits, all that can be manipulated for any percussion sound. I got all the gear I ever wanted in software for so much less money. I already had a few electric guitars, one cheap ass Guitar Center bass, an acoustic and acoustic/electric, 12 string acoustic electric and nylon classical acoustic/electric. Kicker is, I spent all that time building a nice little studio, and my ex wife deleted all my files and years of my recordings...yes I backed them up but this was before the Cloud and was on external HD that strangely went missing..hmm...After that devastating blow, I quit playing and gave all my gear away..now I want to get back into it and knowing these plug ins are better than ever..it will make things a lot easier to get back on the horse...now I just need that horse to win the lottery so I can get my groove back...lol

Herman, not sure if you've checked out the Boss SY-1 or SY-200 pedals, but they do something similar for real amps; no special pickups required. (SY-200 is essentially just the SY-1 with the ability to save presets and a few more features besides.) Bonus? They're both polyphonic! Also, this was a great video! I'm seriously trying to fight off GAS for this plugin.

looks like guitar rig with a different ui , get a good quality input for your guitar and a computer with 2ms audio latency running smooth and stable so you feel in sync with your playing while hearing the playback from your host and run as many vsti or whatever in your setup to trigger/alter/effect/process/simulate/sound however complex you want to sound. The big thing for me is the instantaneous way a hardware guitar amp that jacks right in so you can almost feel your fingers driving the magnetic field in your speaker voice coils making it play with some punch while more complex tracks in a daw with heavily processed software guitar fx and audio driver asio settings needing higher latency setting to not fizzle making real time playing a bit soggy when you punched it .. can sound amazing but ...

@LordDragox4122 жыл бұрын
Yeah, it just doesn't have that clean of a sound. Fun to play around with, but it would be hard to find much of a practical use for many of the presets, which seem to be there just to be a filler.
@MI7DJT2 жыл бұрын
@@OrcsMustDie-tl3dj I get that though it just seems immature at this stage of the project compared to the TH-U packages. Over time I'm sure they'll see the need to focus on real-life usage for the majority of guitarists. In one day with TH-U I was able to make presets for about 30 songs & program my midi footswich for all the presets. It's so easy to use. Combine with Cakewalk and you've a great setup for recording or live gigs.

I always liked Guitar Rig. People don’t like the flat responsiveness with DI, IMO just a studio monitor close so your guitars has the resonance to reverberate off makes it sound better.
