Time for an upgrade....we loved the MSR Elixir 2 which we used for 3 months wild camping throughout the JOGLE. Check out what we have decided to use for the LEJOG Cycle and beyond....MSR Mutha Hubba

Love to see your new video! The "half uncover" option is really cool, really could make it viable in tropic locations!

Very nice tent! I know alot of times when a tent manufacturer claims "two man" tent what they actually mean is two intimate dwarves. 😉 I prefer the extra room as well.

Msr are good tents i. general, but if you spend around 90 nights a year on all types of weather...after 3 years the problems appearing. Msr only for occasionally camping without many wind. great video❤

i was thinking, what if there was a type of tend, where you had 3 to 4 foot long poles, that can extend out to at least twice their original closed length, a bit like a tripod legs with those locking rings (Manfrotto brand comes to mind) and then, the tent fabric clips onto those poles, which are basically set up like an actual tripod would be, and with stakes for the feet. if it could be made as light as say, 3 to 5 pounds or less, That could be a super easy to make tent. and, depending on the number of and length of those sections, could be fit for different tent heights and floor widths. could be interesting eh.

I think that might be a wig wam Eddie.. interesting 🤔. The weight would be more, these light tent poles have very little weight and seem very strong.. we'll see how that works out.. 👍👍 thanks

Hi both, great channel, which I have just discovered. Is there a reason you didn't opt for the Elixir 3? We'd miss the double opening sides. Enjoy having an entrance/exit each, and that through draught.

For us it was about size and weight. The elixer 3 was if I recall a lot bulkier. This MH 3 also has the two doors and the through draft. I'm actually sat in it now.. 😂 we love it.

6:48 Dog saying hi. 😂 7:45 I don't think your bags would be as well hidden at the front of your new tent, or do you think plan to keep the bags inside once you're sleeping? 10:17 If it is possible, I would suggest finding some kind of netting to cover the front and the back entrance of the new tent, as you might be bothered by mosquitos and midges in some areas of the UK, depending on where you're camping. The nights most likely won't be a problem temperature-wise, but I guess you never know. And just going back to a previous video, yes, I think it's a great idea to pester that miserable xenophobic Scottish farmer again, just to enrage his anti-English feelings a little more. Make sure you record it for us. 👍

I'm hoping we'll be able to keep a lot more in the tent with us Ben. That's why we decided to upgrade to the 3pax. Bugs may be a problem 😕 but hey ho, we'll see..
