Assen has modifications in the engine... balance shafts have been added. MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR Nurburgring has old engine.

Great comparison vid - small Q .. just asking .. (as I own a MV agusta brutale 1000rr) .. why do you roll the gas off during upshifts using the quickshifter? .. just hold the gas open.. and shift .. It'll save your gearbox in the long run too. Kind regards

So to summarize, both bikes have similar specs and price, but the MV is better for road and Duc is better for track because of their geometry.

You could tell the SP2 is not ridden, exhaust has zero coloring. That's wild, I ride the bejesus out of mine, life's too short. People say you can't go wrong w either, well I think you can. Go over 80mph on that naked bike and you'll be holding on for dear life, versus riding slow, the Ducati hates it, and the seating position is aggressive. I don't see a use for a 200 plus hp naked bike. I'd prefer a cafe racer or something like a Monster. Of the two, my style of riding favors the SP2 easily. It's the one I chose.

@@j.taveras8447 SP2 just hit 600 miles The 2 bikes offer different experiences Yes there is no need for a 200 hp naked bike but its good to know that you have it if needed. Its actually super fun to ride and mainly because you can enjoy it at any speed. The SP2 on the other hand as you said if you are all about goin fast all d time is the bike to choose.

@@SuperbikeAngel Oh yes, makes sense, still breaking in the SP2. The baffles don't offer any performance benefit, you can even see many bikes at Ducati shows without them. I confirmed this with two Ducati dealers in my area because I kept hearing this. The upmap adjust easily because the pressure difference isn't enough to cause a change. It comes down to looks and sound, I prefer without.
