Mind games. I’m not a fan. It’s weird: I’m a dyed in the wool introverted hermit, but as little as I try to interact with people, I spoke to about a dozen strangers today. And it felt like they were sort of seeking me out. I was just in the grocery store trying to buy tuna and a lady is showing me pictures of her grandson on You Tube. A number of men sort of bumped into me talking about their dogs. I was mowing my lawn and a meter reader was telling me how impressed he was with me. I swear I try to stay invisible, I don’t know what is going on. (If I’m going to be honest, it’s actually kind of neat!) But anyway, yeah, kind of easy to ignore mind games/manipulation/gaslighting. Making real connections is weirdly enjoyable!
