If my house phone rang after 10pm I use to panic thinking it would be my mum fell on the bungalow, there was one phone call in the summer and it was around 10.15pm still light and it was central control the people when they pull the emergency cord in the house they said is that Mrs Jones, me..yes ...them ...well don't panic , it's about your mum her smoke alarm went off and we contacted the fire brigade and they are there now ...well I got up out of bed flew right round there and my mum was ok what she done was that she decided to boil some beetroot , well she forgot about it and it just burnt, so there was just smoke from it thank God....also my mum sometimes never said bye to us on the phone when she use to ring that she wanted something from the shops lol....
