I found spoons like that before and my theory is since they did not have Brillo scrubbing pads back in the day to scower out pots they were using the edge of a large spoon to clean the burnt-on food, I have done it a time or two my self out camping.

Hey Cleggy. I have a quick question? Why don’t you during the season when the fields are none operable for detecting why don’t you go do Rally’s like everybody else. I mean other top UK detectorist to me that I watch! But I don’t watch there’s right when the alert comes out like I do yours just saying! Many of them go to the Rally’s like Sid, Stephen Gray and Found in the ground. Why don’t you go too? I’d love to see you there hitting those fields pulling all the other kool stuff like they pull out of the fields. I’m sure you’ve been asked this same question and I’ve missed it but I’ve always wondered why? If you would let me know I’d really appreciate it. Thank bud.
