I already noticed he changed his style of play. He's more measured now when the ball is in his hands, his eyes takes in the whole floor now in a peripheral way. He's passing, he's distributing, he can sit on a bench and rest a few minutes without the team losing anything on the floor. Overall, their defensive intensity is a lot better than last year. I see them going deep into the playoffs.

What’s crazy is he’s always played this way the majority of the time. He’s a kyrie level ball handler with Chris Paul vision and a crazy layup package who just happens to have insane hops. He has 4-5 absurd layups every game, with a big dunk ever 3 games and everyone nationally thought that’s all he did.
@timthielke354129 күн бұрын
@@Ryria901 You're way underrating Chris Paul. Morant is a good passer, probably top 10 in the NBA right now. CP3 is probably top 5 all-time. That's a HUGE difference. That's not to put down Morant. He could have a real case for the 5th spot on the MVP ballot right now behind Jokic, Giannis, Tatum, and Shai. But he's not close to being on the short list of the best passers in NBA history.

@@Evan-i4e no, ja's brand is based on his acrobatic playstyle, his larger than life approach, his off court dress style, even his hair. even if he stops going for crazy posters his brand will always remain strong- the dancing, the taunting, the shoes, the look, all of that is what keeps his brand

@ saying he was not good nor moral is just wrong. As someone who lives in Memphis, he did many great things for the kids and people in the city from the moment he came. He has always been a fantastic father. He just didn't do those things for attention so people don't know the positive things he did before the suspensions. People also don't know the year he got into all that trouble was literally his first year living as an adult on his own. When he first came into the league his whole family (mom, dad, sister) lived with him the first 3 years so fame could bring them closer together not far apart. That first year own his own though he wilded and made mistakes he had to learn from like many young, rich kids. He was still good and moral despite that.

If you’re really looking you can already tell that he is. Saying that as a Miami fan. D-Rose and the staff had a very good influence on him. He’s a good guy. Ppl forget that his come up was not one of an early celebrated all American who was cheered by everyone. His come up was by sticking it to the man and proving those wrong who didn’t believe in his talent. It took a maturing process deciding what you want to stand for instead of fighting with your back against a wall. I believe D-Rose with his approach of a humble hustler whose talent and abilities were undeniable was incredibly valuable for a young rebellious Ja who was put in a position that maybe five ppl in the history of the NBA could have had the authority to speak to him about it b/c they’ve been there. And then it’s Rose with his great value system. We can’t thank him enough. Ja was on a dangerous path
@Tusk20015 күн бұрын
@ having walked that very same path, I know how hard it is. My circumstances were very different in terms of financial security; however, I was headed to the dame place.
