You Wouldn't Download A Nerf Blaster

This without a doubt is the MOST PAINFUL 3D Print I have ever made! Growing up I didn't have many people to have Nerf battles with, so I didn't have any Nerf Blasters until I was an adult. Since I got into 3D Printing and saw @3DPrintingNerd do some videos with @outofdarts I was enamored with the idea of building my own blasters. We finally made it happen with the totally awesome Nerf Caliburn 4 by Captain Slug! This home made Nerf Blaster is the perfect example of what awesome 3d prints look like! It functions with so much power and authority, I don't even want to consider a store bought blaster at this point. From printing and building, to being shot by my friend, it was a great experience all around! now that the blaster is build I need to find some awesome 3D printed Nerf Mods to go on it!

heads up. if you were wondering why you had banding at the beginning of the video in your talking head part. it has to do with your lights and your cameras framerate being too high. still great content. but i thought id let you know. keep that shutter speed down to 1/60th with those existing lights you were using :) btw i found your channel thanks to your xmas toy video.

Bro forgot airsoft exists, talk about overreacting. 200 fps isnt that crazy lol an airsoft glock shoots 300+ stock. You don't have no bruise kid

Hey I appreciate you taking the time to comment! I don’t actively pay paintball, airsoft, or participate in Nerf battles however, these half length darts are moving out of my blaster at an average of 217fps, which is about 147 mph give or take. Given that these darts are 1 gram each and that the tip isn’t exactly soft it has some force behind it. I’m sorry you didn’t believe I was left with marks from impact but it was the case at the time of filming. I have a pretty low tolerance for pain of any variety. So it wasn’t like broken bone pain, or unmanageable, but given I don’t do any of these shooting games commonly, it wasn’t exactly comfortable to me. Sure I could be come accustomed, but it did leave marks through my shoe when I shot myself point blank which I was impressed with lol. KZbin is a fun place with all sorts of different kinds of content, I’m glad you stopped by and gave the video a try :)

Airsoft bbs are 0.20-0.40g, these darts are 1g, you do the math

@@remthompson Your comment to this....person is phenominal. Wonder if he would also say that getting shot with simunition doesn't hurt either. This is half real ammunition and half paintball. I have a scar from getting shot with some 20 years ago, if was fun doing the training but hurt like hell after I realized I got hit. Anyways, pain tolerances differ from person to person, my husband doesn't feel pain at all (must be nice). A tiny bit of advise protect your heart, it doesn't take much for arrhythmia to happen. Keep having fun Rem and team!
