Sick bike, I bought one in November 2021 and some dog stole it when I took it to Canberra to ride at Stromlo on the 2nd Jan. Still havnt found it. Still paying it off. Still have not been able to afford a new bike. Take care of it mate, make sure its insured and you have an airtag on it. You just never know when someone might get their dirty paws on it.

Sorry to hear mate. It's becoming more and more common and I feel for you. Fingers crossed it finally turns up, and thanks for the heads up.

Nice vid. Hvae you tried any long distance XC riding with this bike? Wondering if it feels heavy/slow

Just thinking of upgrading my Neuron to this exact Spectral. How does it handle efficiency on undulating terrain?

Overall, very well. I use this bike as a "one size fits all". I've taken it to bike parks and local XC trails and had no issues, it performs! I've come from a 130mm/115mm (Giant Trance Advanced Pro 0) and have not had a single regret. It climbs very well, and it is amazing on the descents. Hope that helps.

How do you like (or not like) that one-piece handlebar and stem combo? Does not being able to adjust the fixed bar roll bug you? Any thoughts of replacing it with a traditional separate bar and stem? This bike is at the top of my list for next rig (I currently ride a Neuron CF &), but the one-piece handlebar/stem cockpit gives me pause. Any thoughts welcome.

Where are these trails? Very nice handlebar! Enjoy your new rig and keep it rippin!

How do you find the bike ?

It's been great. Upgraded from a Giant Trance Advanced Pro 29 1 (130/115mm travel). The Canyon climbs just as well but is in a completely different class on the descents. I can't fault the build on this bike, it's rock solid. I just wish the stock dropper was longer. I have a Medium frame and the 150mm leaves me with the seat post being fixed about 10cm out from full bottom. That's my only issue with the bike. Otherwise it's perfect. Best all rounder I've owned (which is the type of bike I aim for).

@@RNAMTB sounds good , that dropper is a concern for me though . I’m a short legged , long torso bloke . Only 5 10 and a half, bit ride a large to get the reach I like . Maybe I need to sit on one .
@RNAMTB3 жыл бұрын
@@camwells9726 you'd be a Medium. I'm 175cm and was recommended the Small. Went for Medium and its perfect sizing. I would think that reach would suit you (easy to check on the website/compare to current bike). Good luck with the next purchase whatever it is!

@@RNAMTB I’ve got the upper body of someone 6 foot 1 . I’m currently on a large mega with the same reach , fits perfect.

Hi can I ask where can buy that handle bar?
@RNAMTB2 жыл бұрын
Hey Josua, this is a stock component on the bike. I would assume if you're able to source it, it would have to be through Canyon. This is their G5 component line.

In Australia, this is the CF9. There are some differences between models pending your location.
